In the ballroom...

[For those residents that find themselves locked in the ballroom, it's really quite a sight to see.

Balloons and streamers and cardboard hearts are strewn all about the room, hanging from the ceiling and decorating those tall, locked doors. But even if the doors won't open, it's not the worst place a person could find themselves.

If you're tired, there is a section of the ballroom where Valentine-themed blankets, pillows, beanbags and blow-up furniture spread out across the floor. The lights are somehow significantly dimmer on this side of the room, allowing for easier sleep.

Along one wall is a seemingly endless array of snack foods, candies, hors d'oeuvre, and anything else someone might want to wish up. There's plenty of room! Nearby, a chocolate fountain stands as tall as the average resident, constantly flowing with delicious chocolate for dipping. Directly beside the fountain is a very, very large chocolate chip cookie shaped like a heart. The cookie alone could feed the entire ballroom if desired. Perhaps as you approach the snack area, you'll find yourself holding a tall, cold glass of pink lemonade.

For entertainment, there is plenty of music, movies and video games to satisfy all genres. Residents are free to wish up whatever they'd like! This is all about having fun with others, after all, and Paradisa's willing to allow (almost) anything to get those bonds forming.


TEAM BUILDING EXERCISE OF THE DAY

In the center of the room is a parachute of grand proportions, colored with stripes of red, pink and white. It's rather large, and cannot be handled by just a few people.

Residents may feel encouraged to run over and help lift the parachute. If enough people can band together and start up a few parachute games, the castle will reward the ballroom.

The reward: The ceiling of the ballroom will fade away, giving the illusion of sunny skies and fluffy clouds during the day, and brilliant stars at night.]

[well this is strange even for him. after checking that the door really wouldn't open, Dextera wandered over to check out the snack table and soon found himself by the chocolate fountain.

he really has no idea what it's for so the mute's just staring at it. this is really strange...]

[he jumps a little and turns around to look at Nudge. yes you did manage to surprise him.]

[ hehehehehehehe. she sticks out her tongue at him and then giggles apologetically. ]

[he pauses before taking out his journal.]

A litte, but I should be used to it. [but whether or not he means Nudge or something else is up for debate.] Do you know why we're here?

[ she's used to this by now, and she steps closer so as to read. she's not sure what he means, but figures he just has a lot of friends who like to surprise him. as for his question... ]

I guess it all has something to do with Valentine's Day! Have you ever had a Valentine's Day before?

No, but I know a little about it because people were talking about it over the journals. [but he's confused since everyone was saying it was bad here but it doesn't seem so bad right now.]

Well, you can tell it's Valentine's Day stuff because of all the red and the pink and the hearts and stuff. Usually you're supposed to spend the day with just one special person, so I'm kinda confused why all of us are in here too...

[ Stocking sees Dextera as she picks over some food, and moves over to nudge him with her shoulder lightly. ]

[he jumps a little at the nudge but shakes his head. no, he hasn't. what is it?

It is a chocolate fountain. It is just chocolate that's been melted and made to look like a water fountain. [ She takes her journal out and quickly sketches out a regular water fountain. ]

But, with a chocolate fountain, you dip food into it! Like so~ [ She stabs a strawberry and lets chocolate run over it before eating it. ]

[oh...that makes a bit of sense. chocolate instead of water. give him a moment to find a strawberry as well so he could give it a shot. it looked like it tasted good anyways.]

[ Stocking chooses a banana and quickly cuts it up before dipping a few slices in chocolate, too. She offers the other slices to Dextera. ]

Good, right? Try it with banana~

[he takes it and dips it into the chocolate before trying it. it really does taste good! much better than anything back home.]

[ Success~ Stocking grabs an empty plate and some skewers, handing them off to Dextera. ]

You should make a few skewers and relax with them, eh?

[that does sound like a good idea. he tilts the plate slightly so he could write a bit more.]

Does it matter where I sit?

this goes on for a while until she casts her eyes on the snack table to see what is available]

Think it's safe to try? [can't get over how gigantic the fountain is :O if someone pushed her in, would she drown in the chocolate or something?]

[he looks at the fountain a bit more before pulling out his journal to write.]

It seems okay, but I don't know what it's for.

Oh! [scratches a cheek] This is a chocolate fountain. You dip stuff into it like fondue.

Anything? [because there's a lot of things here. like things you're really not supposed to eat.]

[she doesn't know...this is going to end well ._.

Pretty much, yeah. Unless you're one of those people who think grease and chocolate were meant for each other. [because ew, NO]

[just make sure he picks things that are edible and it'll be fine.

he tilts his head slightly.]

Usually not. [she puts on her best serious face] Take my word for it.

[well a serious face meant something was serious so he nods.]
