[A box of chocolates was a strange thing to find in one's room. Especially when one did not place them there herself. Finding a cake was even weirder. Faye is suspicious about these sweets. If they came fro the castle, they could either be really good, or really bad. Or perhaps both. Which is what she feared the most.

Of course, the cryptic literature that came with the food was no help at all. So se decided to have just one chocolate. You know. Just to test it out. If she died a horrible death or got food poisoning, there'd be her answer.

There seemed to be no effect... until she left her room. As she goes about her way throughout the castle, the sight of just about every person made her smitten, giddy, emotional, or something of the like. This could end up being a long day, especially considering she doesn't quite take notice of the effects.]

[If she wander too far out, she might run into Spike looking like he's been affected by something entirely different than magic chocolates. He doesn't even lift his head as he passes in the hall, blatantly ignoring all things pink and decorated.

Nope, he's here on business. It's probably better she just keep walking.]

[A familiar face? She smiles as she changes direction to follow him.]

Well, well! It looks like someone doesn't believe in love at first sight. I guess I'll just have to walk past you again.

[Got to hand it to Faye; as focused as he is on wherever he's going, she manages to blurt out a sentence that derails him from his train of thought. Or at least, makes him pause long enough to see if he heard her right.]

... Did you say something?

[Well, at least he heard her. It's a step in the right direction. That's the chocolate talking.]
You mean you didn't hear me?

[He narrows his eyes. You picked a bad time to be crazy, Faye.]

Sort of hoping I didn't.

[He peers at the sudden box suspiciously, like he's only now focusing on her.]

Where did you get that?

A secret admirer.

[Lies.]

[He frowns, instantly thinking of one person.]

And you're making sure they aren't poisoned?

Well, I'm still alive.

[He shrugs, like he doesn't practically expect it.]

[She eyes the chocolates before eying him. A lot of good that jealousy inducing mind trick did.]

[He calls over his shoulder before he leaves.]

And you should work on your pickup lines. Even I couldn't pull that one off.

Oh, now you hear me.

[Would it kill him to leave some things to himself?]

[He smiles inside. Like he was going to let her get away with that one. (Whatever it was. He's assuming she was messing with him, because what else would it be.)]
