I do not know very much healing, but it would be some when materials for physical first aid are not readily available.

[ Duke half turns his head to listen when Thamuris knocks, collecting a half-bowl, half-plate to put some sliced cheese (its fairly unevenly cut, he might have done it himself), and bread rolls into it. ]

What are 'pokemon'? I'm not familiar with them.

There seem to be a great variety. Of two that stay with me, one is a bird, the other... some sort of great lizard. Tend to say ... species name?

Oh. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised there are a lot of strange creatures here that I don't know about.

[He grabs some other fruit along with the apples. It's still a little amazing to him to find it out of season, and he's not about to let it pass him by]

Duke picks up the can of chicken. If the cat doesn't eat all of it, he'd eat some- ]

Alright. I have a few things to eat picked out, so I'm ready, too.

[ Duke nods, tucking his gathered food into a bowl and heading back up to his room. It's moderately low on this particular tower.

But it is a cave, one of those moderately sized ones that probably should have had a pool in it. It's remarkably clean, floor more or less covered with two varieties of moss- one might have been marking out where water would have been- and very little small bits of rock about. The odd bits are the plain wooden door off to one side, and a table with chairs that looks the same brown-red color as the stone, but is rather clearly just that color. Duke turns for that, setting the food there.

There's also a bright blue bird, a big green armored lizard, and a cat. ]

[...This is so very not what he was expecting. Though he's too polite to say it like that. He goes to set down the food where Duke left the other things]

I take it the strange-looking animals are the... pokemon?

The bird- [ which gives Duke a look for that- ] is Niffel, and the nosier one [ Because its totally heading over to sort the food out. ] formerly friends with Dhaos, and is Aina.

[ Don't trip over the cat, who doesn't want to be ignored in the way cats always do. ]

[Well and Troia is all Civilized and stuff. Thamuris smiles at the creatures, and reaches down to pet the cat]
