☽ 006 [ Waning ] - - The morning after the Full / Dictated / Action.
[ Any of you who might have been listening or wandering about the forest the night before, would have heard a distinct lack of howling that was present during the previous full moon. Likewise, if you had gone in search of said beast, he was hard to be found, preferring to stay well out of sight and sound from anyone who might have approached him previously. It was uncharacteristic of Moony, to say the very least. Werewolves were notoriously violent and bloodthirsty, but he had seemed much more ... human.
This change was due in part by one Hermione Granger, who had effectively set Remus free. For once in his life, Remus had felt control, had not once felt afraid and though he had felt pain, it was not nearly as intense as it had once been. It was like the first night with the Marauders, when he'd woken up without a scratch. It was that way again and he'd be damned if he didn't thank her for what she had done for him.
You'll find Remus practically booking it back to the castle, still attempting to button his shirt back up and buckle up his belt. He's running as fast as his aching muscles will let him, nevermind the fact that he's completely forgotten his shoes in his haste. If he runs into anyone, he simply mutters a quick apology and continues on his way up to the fifth floor. Anyone he might pass on his way up, will see a grin that hasn't been seen on his face for quite some time. Remus Lupin has literally not felt this sort of joy since Fifth year, so forgive him if he looks a little insane at the moment.
As he reaches Hermione's door, he knocks hastily, all the while fumbling with his journal so he can dictate a message. ]
James Potter, if you're not already awake by now, get your arse up to the fifth floor right away. I need to speak to you about something, very, very important and it requires your immediate attention. It's about the rabbit problem.
(ooc:// Anyone is welcome to run into him and some of you still trying to work out the werewolf mystery (Abby!) are definitely welcome to confront him.)

Dictated
'Course, mate. I'm on my way.
Dictated
Action

Moony? Remus, come on, just wait a minute...
Action.
[ He stumbles a bit on the steps, hiking his pants up on his hips and pausing for a moment to tighten his belt. He doesn't seem to have noticed whom he's talking to, having completely forgotten in his excitement. ]
Re: Action.
[ Okay, he can't help but chuckle a little bit. This really is just like Remus. ]
Action.
No, it really can't wait. I need to talk to her right away, it's important!
Oh bugger, now where's my wand -- [ He pauses again to search his pockets quickly, before finally finding his wand in his back pocket. ]
Re: Action.
[ Yes, he's quite successfully ignoring the problem for now, since Remus hasn't really been paying attention. He just keeps chasing after him, making sure to grab Remus' shoes as they go. ]
Oi, you didn't even put your shoes on!
Action.
Why are there so many bloody steps, honestly...
Re: Action.
Remus, what's going on? What's gotten into you, mate?

That ... that wasn't Moony you were trailing after last night. That was me, Sirius. Hermione gave me a potion that helped me keep my mind.
[ There's a certain giddiness in his voice, the corners of his mouth turned up into a grin. ]
no subject
[ Granger's smart, all right, but really, a potion that can... ]
No, you're kidding me...
no subject
[ He nods, still grinning. ]
no subject
H-How do you feel? What was it like?
no subject
Brilliant. I could think clearly and Moony wasn't there, holding me back -- I-I just --
[ Suddenly he steps forward and hugs him, unable to really contain himself properly right now. ]
no subject
That's... that's fantastic, Moon... erm...
no subject
Sirius is disgusted with him, he now knows that to be true.
He pulls away suddenly, looking as though touching Sirius as burned him and he steps back, eyes wide. ]
S-sorry... I-I need to go...
[ And with that, he takes off running again, intent on putting as much distance between them as he can. ]
no subject
Remus, Remus wait, I...
[ Aw, damn. He'd been practicing that... ]
no subject
Action.
Have I told you how brilliant you are already? Honestly --
no subject
I'm glad to hear it went well. But, erm, I think you forgot your shoes in your excitement.
no subject
So I did. I'll go find them later.
And it went well, yes. More than well, actually. That's the first time I've ever had even an ounce of control.

I think it'll put Prongs at ease, at least. He couldn't come with is last time.
[ He just nods a little, taking note of the awkward little smile on her face, but deciding to ask later. ]

And yes the certainly don't look miserable at the moment. That's a huge relief already. ]
All right, Moony. Granger. [ Nodding to them both. ]

Morning, Prongs.
no subject
You're looking good.
no subject
[ He grins at him, glancing over at Hermione briefly.
He's honestly never been much of a morning person, either, so thus is highly unusual for him. ]
no subject
I've been helping Remus with his furry little problem.
no subject
Really? That's brilliant! I want to hear the details of this one. Though...
[ Glancing around, the hall is empty now, but... ]
I'm not sure if this is one you'd like to go inside for or not.
no subject
It'd be better if we weren't out in the open, wouldn't it?
