#004 - A Girl's Gotta Have Options

 So I've been super busy. (No pun intended.) In the past three weeks I have:

• Eaten chocolate I shouldn't have eaten, but thankfully DIDN'T get bitten in the butt over.
• Sewn two new uniforms. Sort-of conservative ones. People keep giving me looks for wearing midriff-baring tops in the snow, so this is more for them than me.
• Ate a ghost pepper and a hanabero pepper to see if I could taste the difference. Result: positive. I could practically feel the ghost pepper moving through my intestines. I don't know how people eat them without dying.
• Hung out with my BFF, but that's not really something anyone should be surprised by.
• Walked Krypto daily. I have walked Krypto more here than I have in the rest of my life.
• Obtained scratches from walking Krypto. Dog, my arm is not a chew toy.
• Read some truly terrible YA romance novels. Now questioning my taste in guys.
• Met the Easter Bunny, who I have things in common with. I'm not sure what that says about me.

How's your weeks been? Devoid of energetic dogs and ghost peppers, I'd hope.

I sort of picked it up a while ago. Along with sewing.

You know, we both know how to sew. We could just do that.

We could. Might be the better option, since someone is having a fit over knitted sweaters.

Joke's on him, because we could replace all his clothes with outfits of our choosing.

Ooooh. He'd explode.

He needs to live a little!

Doggie outfits is a start.

We'll ease him into it.

He'll want one eventually. Once the envy sets in.

He won't be able to resist, once he sees how cute they are...

And then he'll want to make doggie outfits.

Pants on a dog is weird, though.

Yeah. Thinking about it, would the pants be on the back half, or on all four legs?

Uh--when I think of dog pants, I think of like. Something more like this.

Yeah, but you have to decide whether the front limbs are arms or legs. They're four legged, right? So pants on all legs.

Argh! Why is this so complicated!?

Because life is complicated, Steph. So complicated.

[HEAVY SIGH.]

All four legs in pants looks dumb.

[kryptonian]

No less dumb than being on the back end only!

Maybe no pants at all, then. We need to salvage our friendship.

Salvage! I didn't realize it was so frail.

All things are frail when it comes to this debate.

Alright, no pants. Booties, maybe? Vests?

No booties. I've watched too many videos of dogs in booties on the internet to be able to handle that in real life.

Vests could be cute.

Puppies in vests... why doesn't YouTube have lots of videos of that?

Probably because vests are functional.
