[ Sitting by the window with the journal opened on her lap, the foundling child had been flipping through its pages, trying to see what it is she could learn from it. It wasn't nighttime so she knew any hopes of trying to communicate with the Man in the Moon wasn't an option. At least, not yet. She had already stuck her head outside her door but she was airing on the side of precaution for now.
When Katherine had woken up suddenly in this room just minutes ago, she sat up right in the bed with wide eyes. The last thing she could remember was the Lamadary and the meeting she had been apart of along with the other Guardians. How she ended up here in this room left her puzzled and a little worried.
She had found the journal in the room and made a grab for it at once. When it doubt, consult the books. It was the best way to find answers after all. Looking through it, she came to realize that it wasn't just any old book. It was a magic one. While for some that might make them feel unease or nervous about, for Kathrine, it brought the biggest smile to her face. ]
This journal is amazing-- If I didn't already know any better, it could very well be Mr. Qwerty! [ There's a pause as she watches her words slowly appear on the blank page of her book. She smiled even more as she tapped said page. ] I never thought I would see another book like him. This will be very helpful to have.
[ Her fingertips drum against the page as she looks at it. ] I wonder if there is a way to get a message to Mr. Qwerty through this book. I want to let them all know that I'm okay before they worry.

...Maybe he's hallucinating? Could the castle do that? It would be exceptionally cruel of it. So, cautiously, he speaks. There's no bravado or self assurance here, he almost sounds afraid. Afraid that this isn't real. Maybe a little afraid that it is]
Katherine?

Bunnymund! Is that you?

...Perhaps the castle]
I -
[He steels himself a moment, trying to find a voice]
Hi darl. It's me. The one and only, right?
no subject
Of course! I don't think I know of anyone else who is as fond of eggs as you are.
[ Although fond might be putting it lightly. ]
If you're here, then, does that mean Ombric and North are here too?
no subject
...No. Just me and Frost. [Ombric. Someone else he hadn't seen in such a long time]
Are you hurt? The last thing I remember of you... [Wasn't pretty]

And I'm just fine, honest. [ The only thing that could think of that had been bothering her were her dreams, but no one knew about them. She had not even told Nightlight about them. The conversation was starting to trouble her. ]
Why, what's wrong? What is it that you're remembering?

Something that shares those exact letters, for one.
dictated;
I had no idea that there was something that has the same name as him! I'll have to ask him about that. [ She paused for a second before adding: ] That is... whenever I see him again.
dictated;
Yeah, it's pretty commonplace where I'm from. [...] Good luck connecting with that friend of yours.
dictated;
Oh? Where is that you're from? What's it like there? [ Because a curious mind will want all the answers. ] And it is worth a try. If not, then I suppose I'll try to find some other way!

There are other books like the journals out there?
Ones that communicate with people?

If that journal amazes you, I assume you're new. Welcome.

I suppose I did make it very obvious, didn't I?
