Well, um...I was just thinking the other day about things people might do. I mean, I've heard a lot of people don't really have much to do around the place and get bored easily, so...I can offer a solution to that!

[A pleased little "hmmm" from his end.]

You see, I thought about it, and it occurs to me that not many people know how to sew around here. Sewing is a really fun hobby... I mean, it's not too hard to learn, and once you've got it down, you can move onto projects like making clothes and other such crafts. Plus, it's really useful for cases when you get a rip in something you like wearing...instead of throwing it away, you can fix it and continue wearing it. Isn't that convenient?

I'm offering lessons on how to sew up in my room if you want to learn...it won't take too long, I promise, and I have all the materials you need. Just tell me if you're interested!

[A pause, before:]

Oh...and if you have any questions about making clothes and things, don't hesitate to ask. I'll help to the best of my ability, I promise.

[But there it is! Garry stands up from where he has been sitting and makes it over to the door, giving Zelos a wide smile when he opens it.]

Hello! Ready to learn how to sew?

[he meanwhile looks casually cool and gives a lazy wave]

Yo. And as ready as I'll ever be.

Alright, alright, come and sit down, let me get you some stuff to start with and I'll demonstrate, okay?

[He shuffles in, gathering pieces of cloth and a few extra needles as he slightly hums under his breath, before gesturing at the empty seat.]

Go on.

[He'll watch him and feel this guy is just a biiit overeager, but whatever- he'll sit down!]

Okay!

[Annnd he'll hand Zelos a piece of fabric and a needle before taking a seat across from him with his own needle and cloth.]

Okay, so here is your needle! [Holds it up.] This is your most vital tool in sewing. Be sure not to poke yourself on it, it's really quite sharp, because it's used for getting the thread where it belongs.

[He watches. Seriously, that's a lot of caution over a tiny little thing]

Oh! Well, um...it's when you take a thread and use it to fasten pieces of fabric to one another! Something like that. It's how they make clothing.

Of course you can! I have all the materials, and it isn't at all hard to learn so...you can definitely come and try it out to see if you like it or not.

Wow, there sure are a lot of people who like to sew!

Really? I haven't met that many people around here, actually...maybe they just don't talk about it much?

Well, one of my friends back home did it a lot! She was pretty much the best at it! And a friend here does it every so often, she even went so far as to knit me a sweater! And there are also a handful of acquaintances who know how to work that needle and thread.

Oh, I have a friend who knit me a sweater too...Mabel, right? Yes, she's quite good at it, I'm almost envious, heh.

But that's great, to hear that a lot of people do it...maybe we can get together and do a sewing club or something.

I don't know how long it took her to make all of those things, but I was pretty impressed myself, too! And it takes a lot to impress me, I tell you! [...] I don't know if I'd have the patience for myself, though!

Yes...sewing and making clothes does require a lot of patience. I can see why it isn't for everything, hehe...but yes, Mabel is certainly a master at what she does, I'm telling you.
