I moved away from the castle - to get away from insane baked goods. What. The. Hell. Is. Going. On?

[She growled, before letting out an almost whispering whimper.] ...and how am I going to preserve all these?

It's not just pie. It's ... hundreds of pies. HUNDREDS OF PIES, PERCY. [Katniss gripped her hair briefly.] ...How did they get here? Why are they here? Are they poisoned?

I don't think they're poisonous, but some have stuff in them that usually don't go in pies. I think this is just the castle being weird, as usual.

Okay ... so they're not ... deadly. [She frowned, trying not to nudge one with her toe.] Okay, so. Where can I keep them?

I'd suggest a freezer, but I'm guessing you don't have one of those.

...No. [She sighs, rubbing her hand over her face.] Could I pack them in snow and ice, until the spring thaws?

That should work. But you might want to check what's in those pies first to make sure you want to eat them.

Actually, no. The natives died some time ago. We're not sure if the First Gens killed them.
