I think it depends on what it means to you. If it's something really important to you, the memory's worth hanging onto. That's just what I think, anyway.

Well, I think it counts for big and small things. In fact, I think it's the little, mundane things that are the most important, you know? Those are the things that really matter.

I would like to think that I would never forget them, no matter how painful or how faded it becomes. It does them a disservice.

A slippery scale, perhaps. But the memories that drove the actions that one, generally a great many, would label as "bad". Are those better remembered, or forgotten?

Even if they're bad memories, I still wouldn't want to forget them. They're still your memories. Maybe you would be happier without them, but when they're gone, they're gone.

They were children, and thus uninvolved in the events that made the greatest mark. And the one who would have known was dead at the time.
