So, does the castle always do this? You know, knock people out for days and days on end? If so, it's gonna get really old really fast.

[Faye's been out cold for two weeks. She's a little annoyed at the castle for making her lose all this time, but somewhere deep down under all her agitation, she's glad to be awake again.]

No, they don't, but everyone faces these losses from time to time. I have heard of others that have been put to long sleeps.

The long sleeps? I do not know. Perhaps it is curious about dreams, or... well, I cannot say. It is better not to think on it, I think.

I'd gather that this castle is capable of almost anything, so long as it's annoying and intrusive enough.

About five months now.
Guess it doesn't happen that often.

Well, I don't doubt it.
The castle is huge. I'm sure there has to be at least a handful of people that it's happened to.

I still can't help but want to find a logical explanation for all of this... I've been looking into it ever since I arrived here, but nothing about this place seems to make sense. It's frustrating, really. I'd like to believe that the castle has a motivation for acting the way it does.

It's funny.

A few months ago I would have laughed at the notion that the castle had a mind of its own. Now, I can't see there being any other explanation.
