I like it when things are like this... Not the cold and snow, of course, but the peace. When we're allowed time to just go day by day living as normally as we can separated from our worlds. I wish it could be this way all the time, that we didn't have to worry that the castle would thrust us into some horrible world on a whim.

When it's like this, I find that I enjoy my life here. Is that a strange thing to say?

So far what we've discerned is that the castle is sentient, in the sense that it responds to us when we speak to it. It has even spoken to us on occasion, though not very often and not lately.

The common theory is that the castle needs us for energy. Our emotional responses give it fuel, thus all the changes to our environment and the losses we experience. When we leave, most of us simply go back home. But some are reappearing during world changes with false memories. They remember Paradisa despite having left it.

Holy shit, is this real life? He's actually- Jesus Christ. He's met a lot of people, but never anyone who actually really cemented the fact that this place pulls in people from actual other worlds. And yet here's the most solid proof that he ever did see.

And I've heard all that stuff, so I guess there's really not that much left to find out. Or at least it's going to take a whole lot of digging to find out anything else. This place doesn't disclose it's secrets easily.
