Uh... Is it- working?
[Okay, those are definitely the letters that make up the word uh but the rest of it is just jumbled up nonsense. Still, Cass is just going to trust this thing is writing down what she's saying.]
I'm- lost. I think. Castle is big. In book room. Um, library. [Come on Cass, use the right names for things.] Could use [help] information. Um... tips? Meeting in person... would be best.
[Nothing happens for a minute, but then Cass remembers the important part about introductions: You have to actually introduce yourself.]
I'm Cassandra. Cain.
[If anyone does go looking for her, they'll find Cass poking through the books and possibly looking at them like she's reading them, but once you're close enough it's clear... she's holding the book upside down. Oops.]
((ooc: Cass can't read, so any written replies might give her trouble. Feel free to find her in the library for in person meetings!)

Seems like... weird thing to say.

I'm not. What reputation?

[Because seriously Steph she's a grown ass woman, she can decide these things on her own.]
Don't think I want... to be womanized, though. Sounds painful.
no subject
Haha, no, dolcezza. It is not painful at all. It is meant to be enjoyed!

[But he calls her that name again and his body language when he says it tells her it's nothing rude. Now she's curious.]
Called me that, before. What's... dolcezza?
no subject
"Sweetness." I think Americans would say "Sweetheart," but it is the same thing. A pet name for young women.

[Good. Now she has something to call him back when he starts using pet names. Pleased with this turn of events, she nods.]
Is there... a gym, here?

[Because she doesn't really want to agree to fight a stranger and she'll be training anyway, having someone watch won't bother her.]
Maybe, if you're feeling... daring, we could spar.

[Not that she'll be using anything she might happen to learn through watching Ezio fight to kill people, but it can never hurt to learn a new style of fighting.]
no subject
I am sure we can.
no subject
That's not exactly what she's getting from Ezio of course, but it's just his finger, there's no harm in that.]
Decided to... ignore Steph's limits, Bellissimo?
no subject
No, no. I do the same with most women... and I have a lover who would be sore if I ignored Stephanie's limits, too.
no subject
Is that... what you say, in 1488? Instead of girlfriend?

[It seems a little similar to what she has to do, when she has a perfectly formed thought and she knows exactly what she wants to get across but she can't. Ezio has a language barrier of his own thanks to the time he's from, his own things that modern people wouldn't quite get without an explanation.
Maybe it's reaching but she likes the idea that she's not the only one in the world with this kind of problem.]</small?

At times. It can be frustrating to need to stop a conversation to ask questions, or have them explain what they mean. In the past year, I have had to learn many things –– everything from electricity to sexism to table cutlery. There are many things we do not have words for, many aspects of my culture that have no relevance to the people here.

Electricty was weird... for me, too. And hot water. Food that's just... there. It's easy, living inside.

Might have been... not best start, [considering the whole threatening to rip out his spine thing and all] but... glad I met you, Ezio.
