[The past several days were almost terrible. If anything, they shifted between mildly amusing and annoying as hell on a constant basis. For Pixy it did, anyway. It was comforting that he had the company of Mitsuru and his... trusty F-15 plush, anyway. He had his chin propped in his hand while his elbow rested on the chair arm, watching the current Changemorphers movie with narrowed eyes. He frowns a bit when the enemy robot downs a few F-22 aircraft.]

Seriously? Who the hell put those Raptors in the hands of a group of nuggets?

[Mitsuru just sat there mortified.]

'Nuggets?' I apologize if my question leads to an obvious answer. I feel like my intelligence has been violated.

[He couldn't help but let out a laugh.]

Rookies. But you're not the only one who's feelin' like their intelligence has been compromised.

[It WAS a particularly painful movie.]

Are you really judging the accuracy of a movie?

[The piece of popcorn bounces carelessly off his forehead, causing him to briefly look down at it laying on the floor. He raises an eyebrow and looks in Nora's direction.]

It's hardly the accuracy. Any experienced pilots could have evaded an attack like that with little trouble.

Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah and how many experienced pilots do you think were making that movie? [she holds up her hand in a big O]

Besides, they're going for the booms in this one.

[He shrugs a little.] They had to have some kind of experience to be flying those birds for it. [F-22s are too expensive to be rookie planes, man.]

But I suppose you're right. It seems less about the robots and more about how many explosions they could set off in one scene.

Yeah but those guys just fly the planes the way the director and shit tells 'em too. They don't get to make any decisions or anything.

[she laughs]

It really is. It's a good movie if you like to watch shit blow up.

That 'director' - using that in the loosest sense of the word - could have at least known better. Clearly that was asking too much.

[He'll scoff then.]

I think I've seen enough explosions first hand for a while, so I could go without it.

What kinda movies do you like? Maybe we could do a better one next.

[He just gives a shrug.]

Don't really have a preference. Bein' at an air base most of the time, I can't say I had time to watch movies.

But let's be fair here. Any movie would be better than this one.

[Mitsuru blinks twice while rubbing her temple. She groaned and still WTFing at what she just saw]

While I am not against the idea of a high school student saving the world [She WAS one after all], this protagonist certainly would not last a second against Shadows... Or any adversity for that matter.

[He lets out a bit of a dry laugh. Mitsuru's reactions were more entertaining than the movie.]

The kid's not doin' anything. They just needed that kid there so they could have less time for the robots and save on money for the special effects.

But- The kid. Must he scream every single one of his lines? Ugh. I need a drink. And I mean something strong.

Strong enough to make sure I have to carry you back to your room again?

[She's not the only one that needs a drink though. He probably could have gone through an entire bottle of whiskey by now in this place if he had one.]

[She rolled her eyes, slightly amused]

Go any stronger than those martinis you had and you'd probably be knocked unconscious on the spot.

[Sorry, Mitsuru dear. He won't let you live that down.]

[Mitsuru smiled a bit. Quietly laughing]

You will never let that go, wouldn't you?

[He'll just shoot her a smirk.]

Why would I? I could never let a lightweight go by unscathed.

[She chuckles. At least that helped prevent her BSOD from the movie's stupidity]

Very well. If that is the case, I shall challenge you to a drinking contest someday.

[He had to hold back a laugh, but that grin on his face was apparent that he wanted to.]

Really? You? Trust me, kid. A drinking contest is the last thing a woman of your caliber would be interested in doing.
