Hey, guys! Easter's just about a week away. Some of you have never heard of it, so I wanted to explain a little bit. It's the real start of spring, at least on Earth. The Easter Bunny [not kangaroo] hides tons of eggs for people to find. There's chocolate and toys for prizes, and who doesn't like a scavenger hunt?

It just so happens that Bunny is here this year, and he wants to make sure everyone gets the chance to experience Easter. The problem is, he can't paint all those eggs by himself. He might be grumpy, but he's not so bad, and he really needs help.

That's where we come in!

I'll be spending the next week or so in the garden, starting right now. We've got lots of paint and plenty of brushes to go around. Young or old, it doesn't matter. Easter's for everyone.

[Bunny's quiet for a long while, after this comes over the journal. He already knows Jack can be counted on for getting him believers. After all, if it wasn't for Jack, he would have lost his LAST believer. He knows that.

...But still. To hear it for himself is something else. He just stares at the journal, in a state of dumbfounded happiness. For all the ways he and Jack could get under one another's skin they were still in this together. Just like the rest of the guardians.

They were family.

And the punk kid could still surprise him. When he does eventually speak, his tone is fond, the edge of snark gone for now]

I'm bored as balls in my room. I could help out! I got no experience painting eggs though... I just drew faces on them when I was a kid [A laugh]

Easter is a Christian festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion at Calvary as described in the New Testament.

What do you mean the start of Spring? On Earth Spring is the result of the planet's axial tilt and its orbit around the sun. Spring begins on the vernal equinox, when the earth is tilted neither towards nor away from the sun. Or when the days and nights are the exact same length. It usally happens on March 20, which means that it has already been spring for several days.

[Jack blinks at the warmth. He isn't expecting it, but it makes him smile and not in a smartassed way. He puts aside what he's doing, which means there is a blue thumbprint appearing on the page.]

[He laughs, too.] That's fine! I'm pretty sure Bunny paints faces on eggs himself. There's really no wrong way to do it.

Oh, I should probably warn you. The uh... the eggs have legs.
