I never thought I'd be this glad to be back in my own room. Watching movies was nice, really, but-- I don't think I wanted to do it for a whole week. That won't happen if I go to the theater again, will it...?

Oh, I was wondering. Does anyone have any, um... anything broken that they don't want? Scrap metal or spare parts, or even bits of glass or plastic would work. I'd like to build some things, but it's a lot harder than I expected to make them with stuff that's intact. I'm not used to that at all, and it feels kind of bad to ask the castle for things and then just... ruin them. You know? I'm not sure what I'd even ask it for, anyway. I've only ever worked with stuff I've found lying around.

So, yeah, if you have any miscellaneous stuff that doesn't work or that you want to get rid of, please bring it to room 616. N-nothing too big, though! It won't fit through the door.

[For quite some time, 5 will be sitting just outside his room on the sixth floor in the hopes that someone might drop by. He doesn't want to be rude and leave the area in case anyone shows up... though he doesn't entirely take into account the fact that the door to his room is extraordinarily easy to miss.]

I don't know if I want to go back there at all. Being locked in there was uncomfortable and really boring, after a day or two. I wish they could have at least turned some more lights on.

Wow, you're part of those people who got stuck in the theater? I heard about that... Sorry I couldn't help about that.

But scrap huh... I saw a pile of it on the grounds near the stables, like a pile of broken farm tools.

It's okay. I don't think it was anyone's fault. And a lot of people tried to do something about it, but nothing worked... so please don't feel bad.

[At the prospect of some materials for his projects, the tone of 5's voice perks up considerably.]

That sounds perfect! At least, if there are some smaller pieces to work with. Could you possibly bring some of it up? I'd get it myself, but to carry it back would be...

[He sighs. His size always seems to be working against him in this place.]

It'd be really hard for me.

[Huh, carrying it back would be hard for him? She hasn't seen 5 yet, so she's picturing him as a human. But she wants to help out]

Smaller stuff? I haven't seen any of those yet, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for some.

Ooh! I saw some lanterns in that junk pile earlier. Are those tiny enough?

I think so, yes! They'd have lots of useful parts, at any rate. Anything like that-- things that have smaller bits I could take out... that would be ideal.

Um, I was kind of... stuck. There was a movie showing, and I'd never seen one, so I went down to do that. But somehow, everyone got stuck in that room... the doors only just opened today.

I didn't mean to worry you... I'm sorry.

Sure thing! I got nothing to do anyway, so I'll go get them now. What's your name? I can maybe use this journal thingy to hit you up when I get the goodies.

[You could hear the wind blowing as Chie went outside to the grounds. There's still snow outside, but it wasn't too bad. The wind though...]

Brr! I didn't think it would be this cold! I'm gonna have to run. [And she did]

[Chell's sitting in her room, staring at the shards of a broken mirror rather mournfully. She hated throwing anything out. So, when Five's message reaches her, she picks up the shards and tromps down to the sixth floor. She's looking close to the ground, so she sees him and waves... And then offers her shards to him like a weird holiday gift.]

Dunno if these'll work but...

My name's 5. What about you?

[He pauses when she mentions the cold, sounding concerned.]

Er, maybe you should get a coat? You shouldn't have to freeze on my account, please...

[patching_up]

[The miniature figure sitting slumped against the wall struggles to his feet when he sees someone approaching, his lips splitting into a wide smile. He offers Chell a nervous wave, and his one eye comes alight when he sees the pieces of mirror.]

Oh! Yes, this is great! Thank you.

[He gratefully accepts the shards as carefully as he can, nudging the door open to shuffle through and deposit them in a cleared corner of his room.]

Those could have quite a few uses, and you gave me a lot. I appreciate your help... er, what's your name? Your voice sounds familiar, but...

[Her face lights up. She's seriously happy to help him out. He's such a nice person.]

I'm Chell... I talked to you over the journals when you felt sad. And I'll keep my eyes open. I'd bet you can use screws and nuts and bolts and the like. If I find anything, I promise I'll bring it to you. I don't like wasting anything, and if someone can get use out of it, then I will happily share.

[She's dropped to a crouch. She's still huge. But it's an effort to not tower over Five because she knows how intimidating that can be]

Ugh, I hate feeling trapped... Glad you're out now. Hey, was one of the movies you saw Zombies in the Snow? It's a movie from my friend Violet's world.

And I don't know if I saw that one. I don't actually remember all of the titles, aside from some of the ones we watched on the first day... before we found out we were all stuck. It was harder to focus on the films and enjoy them after that. What was it about?

[He positively beams up at her, moving a little closer. He would hug her, if it wouldn't be so awkward due to their difference in size.]

I've... well, I've learned to craft with almost anything left over by the humans of my world. I'm not that good at it, but it's something I like doing...

I didn't pay attention to a lot of it. There was this one scene with really awkward dialogue. [and he was with a pretty girl, so that was distracting]

Definitely not for a whole week. It was nice to sleep in my own bed for once.

You might want to try asking at the clinic or at the bars and restaurants around the castle- I'm sure they'll have a lot of broken glass and dishes and whatnot.

You can call me Chie. Chie Satonaka. And heh, I'll be fine! My hometown can be pretty cold, and running keeps my body warm enough to get those stuff [There were some shuffling noises heard in the background as Chie grabs the material and puts them in a bag that she wished for on the way. Chie is always willing to sacrifice for others even for minor things]

Brr...! Well I got them. I'm heading back to the castle now. It's pretty close by, closer than I thought [The blowing wind stops as Chie runs back in the warm lobby of the castle]

[Five may hear a bit of a clatter as some scraps and extra parts Blues normally keeps for his maintenance are dropped off at his door. Have some robutt parts little guy. Blues doesn't plan to stick around though for thanks though.]
