Hey, guys! Greetings from Zargon. So here I am with a bunch of other people, attending the Space Olympics. Which is cool and all because competing in zero gravity is gonna be interesting.

I'm guessing not everybody was shuttled off or I'd be hearing a lot more complaining about the drug tests. Which, by the way guys, is not that big of a deal. All you gotta do is pee in the cup. It's not that hard.

Space Karate.

That's gonna be hard to do. I mean, one good jump might send you up ten feet.

Yeah that's what I thought too! But if I'm going to be here I might as well give it my all! [Chie sounded pumped, she likes martial arts, so she's kind of looking forward to the competition]

How about you? What's your sport?

Space Swords. It's gonna be awesome!

Oh yeah! That's gonna be pretty sweet! Do you know who are you competing with yet? I still don't know who I'm going to be facing, so I'm a little nervous about that.

Think I saw Ashura's name on the list. That'll be a good match. Maybe your opponent is a native.

Ashura-san? I know him. But I didn't know he's a swordsman.

And a native? Now I'm imagining an alien doing karate [She laughs]

Hey, if the Japanese can do baseball then I guess aliens can do karate.

That's kind of what I mean. So the aliens probbaly have an awesome karate team.

But wait... how did you learn how to fight with swords? Are you in a school fencing team or something?

Nope. War training.

War training? Aren't you around the same age I am? That would be way too young for war. Even war training.

I've been training since I was eleven. And I've already been in a war, by the way.

Whaaat? What kind of world did you come from?

A one where ancient gods are still around.

Ancient gods, huh? I didn't know they're still around until last year...

Well, that's kind of the point: most people don't know they're around.

I'm guessing the gods in your world are a little better than the one we encountered.

They're really not. I mean, they're family but they're still kind of jerks sometimes.

I'd go out and check but I'd rather not suffocate to death.

I didn't even know that was possible! I mean, where I'm from, there isn't any technology or anything to send anything past the earth's atmosphere, let alone keeping people alive while they're in space!

I get that there's no air out there, but someone's come up with a way for people to survive, right?

Oh, sure. People have been going up in space for decades where I'm from. Walked on the moon, even. The astronaut food is kinda nasty, though. I wouldn't recommend eating it.

[milkisgross]

That's amazing! Now that you mention it, how do you pack food for that kind of thing in the first place? How long does it even take to get to the moon?

I guess they have some kind of process for it. You're asking the wrong guy these questions, man. I have ADHD so I don't really pay attention to facts or anything.

So, are you in space right now? What's it like?

Dude, it's awesome! All the stars spread out all around, and this Zargon planet is really weird. The colors are all strange. And we have to wear these dumb silver jumpsuit things.

I'm doing Space Swords for the Olympics. Fighting in zero g is gonna be so fun.

Man, I wish I was there! You'll have to tell me more about it when you get back!
