This means you. They were mostly meat-related (humans like meat, right?), but little jewelry from shop in the store proper was also a possibility.]

Looks like my attempts at showboating were blown right out of the water! Regardless of my efforts or how much I was shown up, I hope everyone enjoyed those particular pleasantries.

The years are shooting by like stars, mes amis. I suppose it really has been that long for me. Now the snow's gone it's easy to tell that Spring's here... In that case, soon enough I'll be looking at another birthday! Let's take a moment to appreciate suspended aging, at least in my case. Doves cannot live forever, you know!

However... Is it just me, or we seeing a lot of festivities and decorations lately than before? [Excessive egg events freak him out some, for likely obvious reasons.]

Haha, I promise I won't be sensitive about it, but just think, this painted egg business is a little strange when primates get so involved. From some perspectives!

I didn't really get the Le Bel party planning gene - private parties have always been my thing, if you get my drift - so all of my previous attempts haven't made it off the drawing board! I'm a bird of action, mon amie - usually everyone else is making the plans for me.

Hopefully this lack of bringing things to fruition doesn't suggest anything about my other activities!

A very good party is only so good as long as it's memorable...

Goodness, I certainly hope not! Cake is lovely, but to be buried in it wouldn't be fun at all. At least I don't have to make my own cake this time...not that I would want to even if I could.

I have helped a person or two make their own oven masterpieces. Even if I can't be directly involved, it's still a lot of fun! And a cake smells the same straight out of the oven whether you were the one to mix the batter or not.

Not at all. Spring is a season of.. renewal. It is nice.

I agree! We're like-minded. Do you have many good memories? I think because everyone is so busy getting passionate and excited, we're more likely to remember the enjoyable things.

Is it true about some humans and allergies? That would harsh the excitement for anybody - so I guess we're lucky!
