[Twelve - Right Through The Eye] [Sometime last night]
[Katniss didn't know how long she had been underneath what remained of the office, but when she woke up, she was buried in timbers. Two crossbeams had fallen, pressing her into a small space, but she hadn't been crushed. She touched the back of her head, feeling dried blood and a large bump, then cursed quietly as she searched for her journal.]
[She reached out her arm, digging through the refuse as lightly as possible, before she was able to find it. She couldn't do much more than stick her hand inside to open it, but that was enough. Enough to cry for help, at any rate.]
HELP! HELP! I'M TRAPPED! [She let out a hacking cough, sucking in dust and debris, before letting out hoarsely.] Shooting range ...

HELP! HELP! I'M TRAPPED! [She let out a hacking cough, sucking in dust and debris, before letting out hoarsely.] Shooting range ...

Not even bothering with a reply, Kara zips over at superspeed. Standing amongst the wreckage, she switches her vision to x-ray, scanning over the crumbled buildings to look for human life. Gotcha.]
I'm here! I'll have you out soon.

[Your only rescuer thus far is a perky-sounding teenage girl. How's that for reliability?
It takes a moment to look at the structure to figure out what is attached to what -- she doesn't want to fuck up this giant game of Jenga and crush the girl in the process. Shame she can't burn through it or just blow it away without risking a topple.]
I just have to figure out how to move things without more collapse.

[Katniss covered her mouth again, before speaking hoarsely.] Shouldn't you get, I don't know, tools or something? I have rope, out by the targets.
[A pause.] If the targets are still there.

[She turns to look for said rope, but ends up giving up quickly. Instead, she starts moving the smaller pieces of rubble. Being able to see where everything connects means she can easily find out what's on top and can be moved without disturbing other pieces.]
Just trust me. I got this.

[Katniss muttered to herself, but tried to keep her head down while she heard her moving stuff around.]
I don't just trust, lady. You got to earn it.

[Shifting more stuff by picking pieces up one-handed and tossing them aside. A-ha, there's a major beam exposed.]

[Says the girl whose job it was to fight and kill, then lead a revolution. She'll enjoy the irony later.
...and whoa, daylight!]
Is that you?
no subject
Yes, this is me. Can you take my hand, or do you need me to carry you out?
no subject
No ... I think I got it ... I don't know how you are carrying all that.

Super-strength. Comes in handy in situations like this.

[Because seriously, she wouldn't have minded that from the Capital. She grabbed her journal and let Kara pull her all the way out, before she stood up and looked at what was left of her office in dismay.]
... all of my stuff was in there...

[Kara looks down into the office.]
Anything worth rescuing? The castle can just replace the less important stuff.
no subject
[Because she's never heard of anything like that outside of genetic manipulation.]
Yeah, everything. [She thinks about it, then sighs.] Clothes, my paintings, and my bow and arrows. I can't live without those.
no subject
[Kara shucks the beam aside -- way aside -- and then steps down into what's left and looks around.]
I can see through the beams, by the way. Your bow looks okay, the clothes seem to mostly be protected by the dresser... paintings look a little toast, though.
no subject
[Mostly because they all technically were from different planets. She brightened at her clothes, and her bow ... but the paintings made her face fall.]
Oh ... oh no.

[And she truly did.]

[She starts picking through to haul what she can out.]
