[Kate has long since given up on the blood stain over her heart. She had panicked at first, but once she couldn't find a wound, she gave up, putting on a shirt and walking to the mirror.

That's when she notices it. Black letters spelling LIAR perfectly across her lips, almost like grotesque stitching. She tries scrubbing, then lipstick, then concealer and lipstick. The black letters don't even fade. With a sigh, she reaches for her journal.]

I think I'm going to lay low for a few days, and hope this blood and freaky word phenomena passes quickly.

No. Its all truth, all the time. [The only good thing about all this was that no one else from his world was here. Especially his parents. He didn't even want to think of their reactions to the revelation of everything he had been lying to them about.]

[Kate really doesn't want to Chie to see her like this, but she doesn't want to discourage her either. She sighs softly.]

Sure. I just...I don't want you to be alarmed when you see me.

It's okay! There's still people who could use a hand in town, I thought I could help out until nighttime.

[Chie really did sound like she doesn't mind whatever it is that happened to Kate. Facing her Shadow and seeing others' Shadows might have helped her understand what it's like to have your secrets spilled out like this]

[Kate breathes an audible sigh of relief at Chie's quick acceptance.]
