[Today Blues can be found in the laundry room of all places. He's got a basket with... Just his scarf in it, he doesn't actually own any other clothes. Between cleaning up all the debris in town and being sprayed by an elephant, he felt his trade mark scarf needed a proper cleaning. ...No he didn't count an elephant bath as that, that's gross.

After putting the scarf in the wash, the robot sits up on one of the other machines and starts to whistle a tune. His journal is open in the basket so anyone can hear the whistle alongside the faint sound of the washing machine in the background.]

[Hey! He knows that whistle! Evan is currently somewhere in the Dead Zone, and his Flygon catches the sound, and uses his wings to duplicate the tune back over the journal.]

Break? How've you been? I haven't talked to you in forever! Did you make it through all that castle weirdness okay?

[Oh hey, it's been awhile. He goes to scoop up his journal from the basket and sets it on his lap.]


Long time no talk. I'm fine, you?

Fortunately I had other things to take my mind off the castle weirdness. The town was a higher priority.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm actually out in the Dead Zone right now, with the Expedition. I figured with all of the weird stuff that's been happening, that it might be worth going out and seeing what's out there.

Yeah, I think I remember seeing you around. I was out there helping folks after that big earthquake too. Felt nice to go out and help people.

Hm. Decided to stay here, I'd only be dead weight out there. From what I've heard it sounds like what ever cause the quake here landed out there, probably not a bad idea to go check it out.

I'll focus on cleaning up around here for now.

Yeah, I suppose. And since there's no guarantee that the Dead Zone actually has an outside edge, you wouldn't be able to reactivate out here, once we reach the supposed out edge of the barrier.

If there's still work to be done once everyone gets back, I'll help out.

Exactly, I'd rather not take the risk. I'll be fine here.

I'm sure the towns people would appreciate that.

It's probably a good thing you're there, too. You can keep an eye on things around the castle and in town while there's so many of us gone.

Do they give you weird looks? I got more than a few after the earthquake, when I was in town on rescue duty. Though that probably had as much to do with me being 10 feet tall as it did my skin, heh.

Exactly. I'll do what's needed here. Someones already mentioned to keep an eye out for suspicious activity. So I'll be ready.

...Weird looks are something I'm used to, nothing out of the ordinary there.

Yeah, I suppose so. Even still, you look a fair bit more human than I do, heh.

Yeah, fair enough. Kinda makes me wish I could change my skin's color, but I'm not that good at my shapeshifting yet.

Hm. Well I'm sure you can always work on that if you really wanted to. Wont get better if you don't practice.

Yeah. I've been practicing a little, but I've always been a little hesitant to go that far. The...person I was cloned from...it was sort of a thing he was known for. Posing as important people so he could do whatever he wanted. Trying to avoid being anything like him if I can help it, you know?

Fair enough. I can see why you'd want to avoid that. Don't let him define what you do though.

I know. It's just hard sometimes, with becoming him hanging over my head.

[And guess who has a couple of weeks worth of laundry that he's been ignoring until now. Church scowls in Blues' direction but otherwise tries to ignore him. Shoving his laundry unceremoniously into a washer.]

[Oh great it's this guy, for once though it looks like he isn't being an idiot. For once. Blues is going to scowl right back at him but just mind his own business. This wait just got a whole lot longer.]

[He gets the washer going and sits on the folding table opposite his machine. Normally he'd just go back to his room to wait, but he's not leaving his stuff unguarded.]

[yup, just going to sit here and stare at his laundry.]

[Blues was kind of enjoying himself whistling. He can't do that now because he has a feeling this guy will just complain about it, that's what he always does. His scarf is too important to just leave by itself here, knowing that guy he'd toss bleach in there with it. So yeah. Now they're both stuck watching their laundry. Waiting for the other one to make a move.]

[Church drums his fingers on the table. This is so fucking boring. He should have brought a book or something to read. Knowing the guy across from him, he'd only end up having to answer a bunch of stupid questions about what he was reading.]

[Okay that drumming? That's getting a touch annoying. Blues is going to refrain from saying something though, because if he does this guy will probably fly off the handle and end up shooting the castle again. Instead he's let his feet swing a little from the edge of the machine he's sitting on. Letting his heels lightly tap the machine with a dull thud each time he brings them back. Yeah, how do you like it Church? He can be annoying too.]

[Really. So that's the way this guy wants to play is it. Pretty damn immature. Church taps his foot against the table leg. It's just out of sync with his finger drumming.]

[Jeez. can this guy not keep a beat at all? Blues is going to clap his hands against his lap lightly. But the sound of metal on metal just doesn't work as well as a human hand on a human lap.]

[Chie entered the laundry room with a basket full of dirty clothes. She has her pajamas with bunny slippers on, so it makes soft footsteps. She passed in between the two while humming a tune of her own. She is followed by a Shiba Inu puppy]

[Church rolls his eyes. Annoying little shit. He's going to cough and shift positions. Making the folding tables legs scrape a few millimeters against the floor.

And then someone else enters the room and... nothing to see here.]

[Suddenly any noise Blues was making stops once the door opens and Chie walks in. Two guys trying to annoy the crap out of each other in here? No way, just two mature gentlemen doing laundry.]

[It took a second before Chie noticed the awkward atmosphere. She straightened herself and looked at the puppy, who whimpered from the awkwardness in the surroundings. Chie raised her eyebrow to look at the two. She did realize there some metallic noises when she got in here, but she simply thought it could be the dryer]

Uhhh... What were you guys doing?

[Chie's eyes narrowed at the two. She shrugs and turns the washer on. She sat right next to it and crossed her arms. There was a moment of heavy silence. Until Chie starts tapping her feet to a beat]

[Is just going to sit here and ignore the both of them. If he could put up with years of Tucker and Caboose he can survive this.]

[Yup, just sitting there, arms crossed and a faint scowl on his face.]

[Of all the people in the room. He felt the most sorry for the puppy, it was obvious it could feel the awkward tension in the room. So he's going to get off the machine and try to approach it. If it lets him, he'll pet it.

What could he say, he had a soft spot for animals?]

[The puppy was just on the floor, whimpering to itself. It could definitely feel the awkward in the atmosphere, but Chie is rewarding him some of those delicious steak. He raised it's ear when he sensed Blues approaching

Chie noticed Blues' attention switch to the puppy, so she ignored him for now. She turned her attention to Church,her eyes narrowing at him in curiosity. Yep, she ain't buying that whole "laundry" thing, and she isn't letting that go anytime soon]

[Good with Blues messing with the dog he doesn't have to look at the idiot anymore.

Except, now that weird chick was staring at him. He raises an eyebrow and looks at her.]

Is there a problem?

[She looked away after a good second]
