When does one become, no longer a teenager, but an adult? I heard the drinking of wine will in the future be restricted to those older than eighteen, so does wine make an adult?

And what other licenses are given to someone with eighteen years? I should like to try them all.

That would prove you chose him above the other men so willing to lay down their lives for you. It makes him as valuable as it makes you.

I guess that makes sense. That's assuming, of course, that there are other men here willing to lay down their lives for me. Which I doubt.

That is only a matter of asking.

[She snorts]

Yeah that's not really gonna happen. If I ask it'll just make him worried that I'm looking for someone else, not jealous.

He seems terribly insecure of your affection.

I think I'm the first girlfriend he's ever had so I'm not really surprised at that.

Does he think you would be the only one?

He might. We've been together a few years, now, and neither of us want to be with anyone else.

Then, see, he has no reason for concern.

Yeah. Try telling him that, though. I have a feeling that no matter what happens he'll still be worried that I'm gonna leave...

The paranoia must grow dull.
