Introduction of a Flower [Dictation/Action in the Lobby]
[A very confused, and well dressed, man wakes up suddenly on a couch in the lobby. He looks around for anything remotely familiar. Although he is no stranger to grand buildings, this one is unfamiliar. He surveys the room before picking up the journal, reading the various entries. Perhaps he is searching for clues about his whereabouts or... perhaps not. Upon finding his name on the inside cover he lets out a small gasp of surprise.]
Really Percy, what have you gotten yourself into this time?
[Seeing his words appear on the journal page has him looking concerned and tapping his eyeglass on his chin. What to do?]
[ooc: New character in the lobby. Feel free to chat over journals or to happen upon him.]

;action
[Here, mister, have a pajama'd teenager, lazily carrying a massive ice cream sundae towards the staircase. She raises one eyebrow when she sees this man looking fabulously out of place, and gives a little snort of a laugh.]
Nice hair.
Re: ;action
Why thank you. A man's duty is to be well dressed after all.
Nice to meet you, Miss...?

[She laughs, and gives a ridiculous little fake curtsy.]
It's Alex.

And what world would that be, Miss Alex? It sounds positively dreadful.

For a start you're sitting on my couch.
[His couch, a public couch. Same difference]
no subject
My apologizes good sir.
no subject
Wow. I didn't think that would actually work.
[He'll go lounge on the couch anyway]
You must be new.

C-Charmed, I'm sure... [She blushes, averting her gaze in modesty.]

What cruel parents you must have had to give you such a name!
Re: Written
I have heard some terrible names in my lifetime and I assure you mine is not one of them.

Nothing personal it just seemed like such an old fashioned one.

A magic castle named Cair Paradisa, actually.
no subject
Cair Paradisa, hm? Would you know how I came to be here instead of my home?
no subject
The easy answer is magic. The castle took all of us from our own worlds and times and plopped us down here. We'll only be able to leave when the castle decides to send us home.
I know, it sounds outlandish but it's true.
