[Adam's currently lounging in the dining room, journal open in front of him. He's bored and a little lonely, which is probably what prompted him to open the journal and speak in the first place.]

Paradisa.

[The word is said slowly, as if he were tasting it on his tongue]

What an interesting place, if I do say so myself. I have never seen anything quite like it. Granted, where I am from we don't have things like magic and journals that you can speak to for everyone to hear.

I am curious what exactly there is to do around here. What is it that the lovely people of Paradisa do to pass the time?

Doc-- [he stops before he says the doctor's whole name, a little unsure. The voice is similar but that accent throws him off. Hmm]

Doc? I have not tried my hand at being a doctor. Yet. Do I sound like someone you know?

[He's interested and may not let the subject go until his curiosity has been satisfied]

[Okay, so it's possible that Adam is a little vain. Or perhaps a lot vain.]

Heh, Paradisa being "interesting" is definitely a way to put it.

[Considering that he's currently out in the Dead Zone, powerless, and helping to fight off an alien invasion.]

I guess it just depends on what interests you. The sky's more or less the limit, with how many different people from different cultures and worlds there are here.

There is a lot that interests me. It's vague, but true. What can you recommend that's considered general fun no matter where you're from?

Hmm...well...there's a stable out on the grounds, with horses and other riding animals, if riding's your thing. There's also a gym in the castle, with all different kinds of exercise equipment. There's a theater in the castle that's open on the weekends, too, that plays all sorts of different movies, and the Four Seasons room, which changes depending on the day. There's a bar in the castle called The Lux, if that's your thing, and another called Caritas in town, that's being run by a friend of mine. Like I said, there's plenty to do, and that's not even getting into wishing for stuff to keep you busy, if you get really bored.

All of that has its own appeal, particularly the riding. I haven't ridden a horse since...

[A beat of silence]

Ah! You're a friend of Peter's?

[A change in his tone as his attention is captured. He's a little more interested in this guy now]

I adapt quite easily to new situations.

[He shifts slightly, straightening up. He knows that she can't see him, but it's force of habit]

[She's used to that reaction. Before she got married it was one of her favorite things about talking to new people]

Phoebe. Phoebe Halliwell. It's a pleasure to meet you, Adam. When did you get here?

About a day or so ago. I got lucky and was discovered by a friend from my world who proceeded to fill me in on this delightful place.
