What's a prefect badge?

In the fifth year of schooling, one boy and one girl per House is given the rank of a prefect. This is usually given to someone who has shown responsibility and leadership. They are in charge of enforcing rules, guiding the younger students, and are given special privileges.

I was the prefect for Gryffindor House.

Both are really helpful, especially in this place. You never know when an emergency will suddenly spring up. [has made good use of some of the potions.]

I wish I knew how to set up protective spells.

You can help brew the potions if you like. Of course I'll need my wand to make it magical, but anyone can mix ingredients.

Sure. I might not be able to become a wizard, but being an alchemist would be pretty sweet.

That reminds me to ask Edward for help... He's a skilled alchemist in his world, and as far as I know that skill has followed him here.

If he's interested, we could invite him over to the shop and have him demonstrate over there. Maybe add some new potions to our inventor.

All things considering, I think we're doing a great job running the place. But having some assistance to work the counter might not be a bad idea.
