[With that out of the way, it's time for Nepeta to get something off her chest.]

There's something I've been meaning to say for a while now, so I guess I am just going to come out and say it.

All of us are different. I am sure that when you first arrive here, there's going to be some people that look really different from what you are used to. And that is okay! Everyone is unique and I think that's pawesome. And it's okay--within reason!--to ask questions about culture and stuff. It is how we all get to know each other.

But what is not okay is making someone feel uncomfortable because of their differences. This is stuff that should go without saying, but I have seen it happen! It's not bad to be different, and you have to keep in mind that if someone is different to you, then you are more than likely different to them! They have probably not seen anyone like you before, so you should treat them the way that you want to be treated.

Here is a list of things that are okay and things that are not okay.

Things that are okay:
1. Asking polite questions
2. Complimenting someone's features
3. Meeting lots of people from a different culture or species

Things that are not okay:
1. Asking REALLY personal questions
2. Pointing out all the ways they are different
3. Assuming everyone from that culture or species is all the same

You are welcome to add to this list, this is just some quick thoughts.

What I am trying to say is this: Don't be a jerk or make someone feel pawkward for who they are. I don't think that is too much to ask!

Heh, yeah. I haven't been hunting since my last field trip, but I might try, give my shapeshifting some practice or something. I've never been of an artist though, if my drawing's are any indication. I like to play guitar though. My cousin taught me before I came here.

[Evan strums up a tune much more complicated than should be possible to play solo, but that's just sort of his way.]

Uh huh. I'm not real good at it yet, but I can stretch my limbs out, make myself bigger. Pretty much anything you can think of, really. I've started doing animal shifts, turning parts of myself into different animal parts, so I can use their strengths. I can't hold 'em for very long though, so I have to be careful.

Oh! That's a really good idea! Next time I'm out practicing, I'll have to give that a try. So far I've done stuff like bat's feet for hanging upside-down, a turtle's shell on my back for defense, and a dog's nose for smelling stuff from far away.
