I'm in space!  This is the best thing ever!  Do you think we'll get a chance to look at the controls?  I mean, I've flown the space shuttle simulator hundreds of times, but this ship has to be ten times as awesome!

Well, it is a little creepy, but the last time I was this close to a space ship it tried to eat me. So far, that hasn't happened here.

It's large and there's lots of lights all over it.

Hoe many lights? What colors? And is there anything else? Buttons? Switches? Dials?

A lot, white, a couple reds and blues as well, and all sorts of everything else you've mentioned.
