Guinevere?

[ The name rings of some familiarity. So does Gawain, if that is who he means. It sounds similar enough. Enough to make clarity try to wrestle it's way into her thoughts. Only making sense of Arthurian legend is never easy. ]

It is no longer May Day, my lord. There was no Guinevere, and His Majesty King Arthur has long since gone.
