057. Night Flight

[Well, having no gravity is kind of shitty. But he's dealing with it.

Brock's tone is as irritable as always, but with some urgency to it now.]

Okay. Anybody onboard the Lewis & Clark with mechanical skills, float your ass down to the control room. This is stupid and I want to fix it as fast as we can.

What the hell was that?

[ooc. slightly backdated to early Day Two! head over yonder for control room shenanigans.]

Already on my way.

[Wait, was this the guy who said rude things to Bunny? Eh... whatever. She told him off once already, plus emergencies are no time for squabbling.]

That was a shockwave. A very strong one too.

Who can say for sure. But given the strength of the power surge, the source must have been close.

...Like a gravity drive on the ship next to us. [...CRUD.]

Sounds logical enough to me. Still, we should probably check in with the Event Horizon and see how they're doing. If that shockwave was strong enough to kill most of our power, who knows what damage it could've caused over there.

Exactly. Hard to say when we have a limited idea of what its condition was like before.
