If any of you possess healing magic or can provide medical attention, please rally yourselves together and see to it that you are tending to the wounded. The number of injured sounds to be growing by the minute.

And whatever you do, do not give into the dark feelings you might sense. It will only overtake you and you will lose your sense of self. I have seen this happen before. I cannot say for certain if this is the same entity, though it is unlikely, but you must fight to keep control of yourself. If you lose yourself, there is no telling if you will come back. Fight it as if you would fight for your own life!

I have experienced Hell! It is the sight of hundreds of allies laid to waste at the hands of an enemy, the stench of death at every turn! It is knowing where their murder rests and being unable to slit his throat with your blade! It is having your heart ripped from your very chest and crushed under the heel of a monster!

[ It doesn't affect her, doesn't move her. She is without empathy, for as she told poor David Webb, she is sure her heart was burned from her chest. ]

Yes, she is a monster! And she will rip out all your hearts and feed them to her dogs. She will make certain you forget what hope is, and she will show you what fear really is! Your mortal fears will seem as nothing when she has ascended.

[Anne's babbling makes less and less sense to Vereesa the longer this conversation. Mary? Absolution?]

The hallucinations affecting many of the Event Horizon's current passengers seem to not effect me, though I am incapable of administering medical attention, I have guided those I am able to, to the ship's medical facility.

I will be assuming a position near the Gravity Drive, to prevent anyone from activating it again, as it appears that the device is responsible for the current mental state of many of the people here.

You believe that part of the ship is responsible for all of this? How is that possible?

I was present during it's brief activation earlier. While I cannot say anything with absolute certainty, after it drew in the small number of residents that came close to it, I believe that it may be giving off some form of additional radiation that is affecting everyone else. This is purely conjecture, but admittedly, my own knowledge of such things is limited.

It's certainly better than nothing. Is there anyway that you might confirm this?

[wolf_of_war]

I have tried scanning it with my Augmented Reality visor, but have been unable to confirm my hypothesis. The ship's logs would most likely be the best place to find information on the Gravity Drive, but I am unable to access them from the ship's computer.

I'm uh... well, other than hallucinations, I think I'm doing alright. Some friends aren't, though, so I'm looking out for them and anyone else I come across.

Good work. How severe are these hallucinations? And what exactly are they of?

[kryptonian]

They're pretty obnoxious, but I don't feel too disoriented. I've had worse.

I think they're also pretty individual-specific. Mine are of, um, family... people who have died, personal stuff. No idea what everyone else is doing but I've got one friend spouting the anti-life equation.

Do you have any idea what is causing this? [The ship? Some kind of ominous creature?]

[kryptonian]

Well, definitely the ship, but I don't know what, exactly. Maybe something pumped into the air system? Some sort of radio frequency some are sensitive to?

Is there any way that you can find out? Anything at all may be helpful in our aiding you.

[kryptonian]

I can look into it, but without my powers it might take a while. Maybe more time than we have. So far my friends and I have been knocking people out, it's just faster.

If it does even the slightest bit of good, it will be worth it.
