[ there's heavy breathing at first, as though ashley's running. she's got her journal open, but every so often there's a break in communication, where she's either shut the journal or tossed it aside. ]
I don't know how you got on board, but I said I was going to kill you for hurting everyone, right? So I lied. I don't want--
[ she pauses as she stops running. she glances around and ducks into another room. ]
I'm gonna destroy them. [ she sounds almost sane. ] They aren't giving me back what they gave me the first time. I won't let her catch me--
[ oh but she's following and ashley whips around. ]
No. Get away. Leave me alone! I didn't do it! You made me do it! You drugged me and you made me!
[ a sob gets caught in her throat before wrenching itself out. pounding footsteps can be heard as she runs and then the sound of her slamming into something hard. probably a wall. she picks herself up and runs again. ]
It hurts. [ almost a whimper. but hurting is good. if she hurts, that means she can die here. she can be killed before she hurts anyone. well, anyone other than miss bluff-face-liar-pants. ]
Stop saying I did it! I didn't ask to kill anyone! Leave me alone!
[ and then she shuts the journal this time, to wait until she's a little calmer to open it again. ]
[ ooc: response times will vary, as she's running, action or journal replies welcome! ]

Where are you? I'll come find you.
no subject
I don't know I don't know. In a hallway.
[ it's a thing. ]
Don't come here. She'll hurt you, too!
no subject
no subject
No. No! I won't let you hurt anyone else.
[ she's actually talking to the hallucination in front of her, but hey...
there's a shuffling sound as she backs up a bit. ]

Ashley! It's not real! None of it is! You're just trackerjacked! Breath! Find a place to hide! We're coming to save you! [Soon, god please soon.]
no subject
You're not here, are you?
[ good. let someone stay on the good ship. ]
Don't come over here. Just don't!
no subject
[Because she'd be damned if she left anyone over there.]
no subject
[ well obviously she's alive right now, so she must be talking about something that happened prior to her arrival here. hmmm... ]
I'm gonna hide. I have to hide.

Which would mean...]
Ashley, the Cabal aren't here. They can't make you do anything. [He's trying to sound calm even if he's anything but.]
James Watson
Yes, they are. I can see her. And that stupid doctor she had with her. [ she's assuming he was a doctor. he was a person working for her. that's all she cares about. ] They're all here. The others... I see them walking around. They're staring at me.
I didn't do it! Stop looking at me like that!
[ she wants to hide, wants to curl up and stop existing so it'll stop hurting. ]
Ashley Magnus
They're not there, Ashley. They're dead. [He hopes, he'll ask Nikola later about it.]
James Watson
They're here. They're right here.
[ yep, that's the sound of her hitting a wall again. she's trying to hide. her voice fluctuates, loud and then soft. ]
I can't do this. I can't. I didn't do it! They've already made me do so much. I don't want to be that. I'm not like him. James, please...
[ she swallows hard. ]
Stay on your ship. Don't... don't come over here. Please.

Ashley! Let's help them together. I'll come find you.
[Finally someone understands!]

Wait... you were just behind me.
[ STOP TELEPORTING, DANA WHITCOMB. THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ASHLEY'S TALENT. ]

Would you like me to walk behind you? We will keep you company until the time comes.
no subject
"We?" There's only you and really, I think I'd rather have a snake behind me, thanks.

What the hell...
[ scientist dude to her, sherlock in reality. her eyes are wide when she finally sees him, stopping a little distance away. ]
What do you want? I didn't do it.

His grin widens when he sees her, full of more manic anger than anything else. She may stop, but he wastes no time in advancing.]
Modesty doesn't suit you. We should all take responsibility for ourselves, after all.
