DAY FOUR - THE END

[After relieving the Event Horizon of its 'crew', The Lewis and Clark shudders. After all, it suddenly has a lot more weight in it than it's supposed to. The very fabric of space seems to twist and turn around the Event Horizon. Anyone looking through the windows will see the Event Horizon being pulled through a black hole...just as the Lewis and Clark starts to drop downwards.

Moments later, and the Lewis and Clark has crash landed on the grounds of Paradisa, the ship is damaged, but the people inside are safe. The stasis pods have opened up, allowing those who were asleep within them to wake up. And what a sight there is for them to see. The doors open, allowing the survivors of the plot to step outside and regroup. It's time to take stock of injuries, and deal with the loss of those who have died. The dead will have all appeared in the clinic, including those who were sucked into the black hole...well, most of them have]

[Luke's face is swollen by now, and even talking is painful. He should go right to the clinic, but he's so exhausted he just curls up on his side inside the Lewis and Clark. Every time he closes his eyes, all he can think about was having his stomach ripped open and how painful and real it was.

Even after it was all over and he was technically safe, he's still completely gripped by fear and pain. He just buries his face into his arms and tries not to think about it to much.]

I want to go home...

[Oh no, this kid. 8( Hellboy recognizes him from the expedition, and gingerly approaches.]

We're back at the castle, at least. Let's get you out of here.

[Allen is beyond exhaustion. It's been a long series of days...so many that he's lost track. He sits, slightly trembling, in the Lewis and Clark's hull even after they've crash landed in Paradisa. He's covered in blood, dried and fresh- so much that his white hair is now colored a dirty pink. There are still tear stains down his cheeks and his eyes are red from crying. The only place he seemed to care about keeping clean was his hands, but from the look of his normal hand- he washed it so many times it's been rubbed raw in several spots]

[He's been working non-stop in a hellish clinic since things went down. He watched his teacher die, heard about many more died, saw horrific scene after horrific scene with little to no reprieve. Add to the fact his powers came back on and he suddenly feels the little energy he had being sapped? ]

[ Yeah. He's not moving from that hull easily. With no more constant crisis, no more adrenaline- his body and mind has crashed and he doesn't want to move. It's partly from exhaustion, and partly because he doesn't trust that stepping outside won't lead to somewhere worse.]

[ Arya watches him quietly a moment before returning to the depths of the ship. She returns with the blanket she had wrapped herself in for the last two days. Without word, she drapes it around Allen's shoulders. With her sleeve, she scrubs at the blood on his cheek. She tugs at his hair and grimaces at its state. It might be better to cut it all off. ]

[Danny wasn't moving. He'd been punched in the chest by a robot, beaten up and tortured by a serious creep, and mentally traumatized by hallucinations. Not to mention running around far too much for his own good.

He was done.

It was all he could do to keep breathing.]

[Percy isn't looking his best, either. It feels too much like the war back home for him. The dead, the hurt friends, the chaos. He's moving around, searching for people unable to get themselves help on their own. That's how he finds Danny. Percy kneels, hovering his hand over Danny's mouth to check for breathing]

Danny, it's Percy. Be alive, okay, buddy?

[Hellboy is here, quietly picking through the damaged ship to search for anybody who looks like they're in extreme need of assistance. The castle isn't far away, but he figures he can carry at least two people concurrently -- and every little bit helps, really.]

[ Frodo has been taking stock of all the people now stepping out of the ship, sprawled about the grounds. There are a few familiar faces he hasn't seen yet. The red man is easy to spot, so he quickly scurries to find him. ]

Did we find everyone? Did we leave anyone behind?

[Simon had gotten quite a shock when he'd awoken and seen everything- the wrecked ship, injured people everywhere, others looking sad and mournful. Something bad had quite obviously happened- but he could find out later.

For now, he knew what his place was.

It wasn't long before he was bringing medical supplies from the castle, trying to organize some of those still living and uninjured to do the same, and starting to treat the wounded.]

[Katniss was covered in bruises, and a few other interesting wounds beside, but that wasn't what she wanted when she saw Simon. Simon, bright and shining and helping others with a quiet sanity that just made her want to weep.]

[So she closed the distance between them, and before he could say anything she wrapped her arms around him and pressed her face into that perfect, clean smelling shirt.]

[Blues is silently looking for anyone that may need help to get off the ship. He doesn't necessarily want to be there right now, but he can't just ignore people that may need his help.

After that's done, he can be seen quickly making a run for it back to the castle. He doesn't want to be seen or see anyone else right now.] ]

[M steps off the Lewis & Clark with the others, not as bedraggled or wounded outwardly, but inwardly, she is through - she's pushed her strength to the brink, given so much of it to others over the last few days, pulled and stretched it out like taffy until it's just one thin, delicate thread.

only one hope is keeping it intact, and she voices it in a quiet, hollow, tired voice that's a ghost of the strong, commanding woman who saw her friends through this. here, in the daylight, free of the dark void of space, she looks her age]

Did we retrieve all the bodies?

<sub>[ He had kept walking in the daze, bloodied, hands cut into ruins from the make-shift blade he had forged and paid for in his madness. He dared not cauterize the wounds - the hands to delicate for such a thing, unlike his chest and back scars.

He managed to get out, into the sunshine, away from that horrible place, making a quiet sound of pain as he has to use the side of his hand to steady himself, fresh blood seeping. It was hard to keep his composure, his control, but he had to. He had to. It was what he did. ]</sub>

[ He's trying to keep some level of composure as he strolls out of the ship as casually as possible like he hadn't just gone through several days of absolutely hell. He's still wound up enough that he's about ready to break everything in sight, but he's got no intention of letting anyone see him sweat now. Though considering he still won't let go of his gun, it's probably still a little obvious. ]

[Carolina feels the Lewis and Clark shuddering and her stomach drops out of her. No, no no no. Not sleeping the entire few days, the loss of gravity, South's dead body, and now the ship was going to be crashing. She's not sure what she can do at this point at wit's end. Part of her expects to be thrown from the ship, to end up face down in the snow back on Sidewinder, to watch Maine slowly move toward her, and end up being thrown from the cliff again.

She loses all of the color in her face and it's all she can do to not go catatonic right the hell now.]

[When the ship drops, York immediately moves forward to grab Carolina's hand - firm enough that she knows he's there, not too tight in case she needs to pull away.]

I got you. We're in this together.

[Kate staggers off the ship, determined to walk on her own. Her shoulder is bandaged and her arm is in a makeshift sling.

Her eyes scan the crowd, looking for him. She's almost desperate to see him.

[Castle had practically run off the ship once he knew he was okay, looking around for her, calling her name.]

Kate! KATE!

[And then he spotted her. Without a further word, he'd taken her into his arms and held her close, careful not to disturb her injuries, tears streaming down his face.]

[Jennifer was limping as she walked out of the ship- she'd escaped injury beyond some cuts, bruises, and twisting her right ankle- but she hardly seemed aware of where she was or what had happened. Seeing death all around her, tormented by hallucinations of her friends and herself, of tentacles and hungry Wraith, and remembering that Carson was still gone, all of them had taken a toll on her.

Paradisa was there, but it seemed distant, and she practically fell on the grass and sat, her knees drawn up to her chest, her head buried in her legs.]

[But someone's calling her name. The voice is practically shot.]

Jennifer...

[The crash left Sherlock dazed, and the abrupt absence of hallucinations and phantom stimuli was like pulling the last support beam out from the fragile mess of his mind.

He's bleeding and battered from his struggles with others, real or imagined, but the injuries seem to barely register. His eyes, blank and shuttered, find the exit, and he makes an immediate bee line for it. There's only one thing going through his head, over and over and over again:

Out. Out. Out. Out out out out out out out.

He'll go around people, step over them, shove them out of the way if necessary. He needs to get out.]

<sub>[ He was more than a little shaken. He had never been through something like this, not ever, and he had not imagined such a thing was possible, that people could survive it. He was instantly reaching out for Yfandes now that they were back, stumbling, looking around for Duke too, but it was hard to find him in the mess and mass of humanity and the rush for the exits.

He bumped into Sherlock and he spun, panting, shivering as the panic still clung to him. ]</sub>

Sherlock-?!

[Waking up -- it's a sight to see, indeed.

Henry stumbles out of stasis, disoriented and drowsy, and struggles to take in everything around him. What happened? He went to bed, just like normal, and--]

What happened? [His voice tightens and breaks as something delirious builds up in the back of his chest.] What's happening?

[A nightmare, still?]

Nothing. [ Arya sits by his pod, a blanket in her lap. ] You slept through it.

[ she doesn't actually wake up until they've crash-landed and really it's part of the power surge that does it and anyone actually near her and paying attention at that point will notice something strange: all of the injuries she received on that ship, from the scrapes and bruises to the blood-darkened wounds, are all magically gone. in the span of a few seconds, they all healed over, as though they'd never been there to begin with.

ashley herself begins to regain consciousness right about then but it's a few moments before she can actually swing herself to her feet.

but for the blood stains on her clothes and the haunted look in her eyes -- and the way she seems hesitant to actually leave -- she could be one of the normal ones, someone who hadn't actually gone crazy down there.

she knows she has people to see, people to find and thank and be sure they're okay, but she doesn't really want to. she isn't sure she can face anyone yet. ]

[Bladewolf was, in a word, exhausted. Between hauling the injured, hunting for and planting the explosives, and just plain running himself ragged, he's legitimtely tired (insofar as a robot can be, anyway). He's extracted himself from the wreckage of the Lewis and Clark, and is just going to curl up near the entrance to the castle, and watch people walk by, only perking up to say hello to the people he knows, or those who acknowledge him.]

[Pixy is just kind of dragging his right leg while he's heading towards the castle. Outside of being sickly pale and covered in blood, his wounds seem to be taken care of, since a certain woman with magic got to him while he was unconscious.

He stops his near-zombie-like staggering when he spots Bladewolf. Pixy's more than aware that it's thanks to Bladewolf that he's still alive, but he doesn't know if he should be thankful for that or not.]

Bladewolf.

<sub>[ It felt odd, this sudden clarity. He looked back on the last days and thought they were a dream, but with a terrible sick feeling he knew it wasn't. The things he had seen - had they been real? Were they real? He stumbled through the corridors, trying to make his way out, shaking from the loss of adrenline, and mostly from blood loss.

His head was bruised where BladeWolf had finally knocked him out the other day, blood coating half his face where he had bleed. And his hands... god his hands.

He finally paused to look at them and nearly sobbed hysterically when he saw them. The palms and fingers were sliced to ribbons, coated in blood, cracking as he tried to move them and nearly broke into tears with the pain of it. His nails were broken, ragged, and some cuts came terribly close to his wrists, where one went when they wanted to end, end everything...

Ending everything...

He fought to control his breath, leaning against a wall, holding his hands out, not daring to burn them, and to tired to call for help or, for the moment, to keep walking. ]</sub>

[ Well, that's something he can smell clearly enough. He isn't even sure who it is, but carefully making his way over, one hand on a wall to help him make sure he knows where he is. ]

How badly are you bleeding?

[The ship is crashing. Chell can feel it. But she's running on sheer tenacity. Her nose is broken, though she'd not truly known at the time, her ribs. Her arm. But she can't leave yet, not without finding her friends. Any of them. She'd settle for seeing any friend of hers right now. So there she stands, swaying slightly, staring around with haunted, terrified eyes?]

Is... is it over?

[he can feel his powers returning, the warmth of the power of the sun coming back to his body, but he's still numb. He'll croak his answer]

...Yeah...

[The tube releases him and Felix is on his knees on the ground beneath it, gasping for breath. He has no idea where he is or why he's here - not an unusual situation where Paradisa is concerned - but the circumstances are new entirely. His limbs feel heavy and wrong and distantly he can make out the sounds - moans of pain and maybe even weeping. The coughs and tries to stand, looking around with a growing sense of dread]

<sub>[ He had kept moving, though he had been stopped to have his hands looked at. He wasn't sure where, why, how. They hurt less, but they still hurt, and he was still coated in blood and his body ached before than he could say. His mind - god, he could still see them - the people, his parents... Yasha. He wanted to curl up in a dark corner and sob, but he couldn't. Kings couldn't.

Somehow, someway, he had made himself over to the tubes, where people are being released, the flash of red attracting him - red like fire, not like blood.

He followed it, a name floating up from deep inside. ]</sub>

Stasis Pods - Mitsuru

[The tube Mitsuru was in made a loud thud, then a sharp pneumatic hiss as the water inside the pod was drained. Mitsuru's eyes were wide open as it happened. The doors opened and releases Mitsuru. Her legs wobbled a bit as she stepped out, still soaked from the liquid in the pod. She took short, ragged breaths as she observes her surroundings]

What is this...? What happened?

[What happened indeed, Mitsuru! Whatever happened while she was in her sleep, if she looks in a certain direction she may, in fact, see an unconscious Pixy nearby. Flight suit and jacket torn in places, he's covered in fresh and dry blood.

He's barely breathing, by the way.]

<sub>[ Vanyel had made it out, glad both for the reassurance of his Companion in the back of his mind now. He wanted to run to her, to press himself into her comforting warmth, her presence, but he couldn't. That was not what a Herald did, and he felt her understanding and her pride and her worry at that.

He was a Herald, and unlike many others, he was sane enough.

And he had magic. It was one of the smaller of his gifts, but he had it. So he should use it.

He stationed himself not far from the exit of the ship - well, one, considering it was a hulking mass of metal, calling out as people came off. ]</sub>

If you need medical attention, see me. I can heal and dress wounds.

_{[ For the first time, he truly wished he had a gift for mind healing, for how many needed it? As it was, he had to try very, very hard to keep a hold of his Empathy. He was not sure he could radiate calm at all right now, and sensing it? Sensing it would drive him mad. ]}

[ Duke recognizes that voice, and instead of continuing to follow the sound of the footsteps he had been, he works his way over to Vanyel. His gloves are wet, but aside from the faintest scent of blood - like he'd been helping someone hurt - it seems the crash hadn't hurt him. ]

This... is the castle grounds, yes?

[ He doesn't exactly know how to get back on his own, but he can sit and help with healing if people need it. ]

Stasis Pods - Chie

[Chie was ejected out of her stasis pod the same way it released Mitsuru. But different bodies react to stasis, and her body's reaction was a little bit different. She coughed and dropped to the floor on one knee. But she quickly recovered and tried to keep her balance]

Oh man... Space again?

[Derp, have a Bladewolf. He looks tired, and like someone's been hacking at him with a sword (which, coincidentally, someone was), but he approaches Chie, glad that she was spared the worst of it.]

Affirmative. I am glad you are safe, Ms. Satonaka.

[Coming out of stasis isn't a new feeling to Icheb. For a moment, when his eyes slip open to what looks like a ship of some sort, his mind flashes to the Borg maturation chamber that once served as his home. But he is not Borg, and this chamber lacks the eerie green light of a Borg cube.

He stumbles out, his arms and legs sluggish to respond, and frowns at his surroundings. The thought comes to him suddenly--it smells like blood and metal--and he doesn't know what to make of it, whether it is at all reasonable.]

Hello?

[There's a girl with haunted eyes staring at you. She's never seen you before but oh my god you're alive, and not covered in blood! So, she raises her good arm, and waves.]

[When he gets off the ship, he quickly and silently goes to look for a place to look and hide and cry.

Of course, he can't stop anyone from joining]

[Have a Chell. She is also looking for a place to... Curl into a tiny ball.She's not letting anyone touch her. Not at all. But she'll sit near you.]

[Ted rubs his eyes, looking around in confusion. He was in his bed and now he's suddenly out on the lawn. With another spaceship]

What'd I miss? There weren't bugs in this one, were there?

[ Frodo is still rather stunned by all that's happened, heart racing from fear and adrenaline. ]

No-- no bugs.

[Rise came out of the crash without any major injuries - just a few scratches here and there. She might panic about them ruining her looks for a few weeks, but they'll heal.

Injuries aside, she's collapsed on the ground, and barely conscious. It'll take a moment for her to come around, let alone move much...]

[After getting some healing from a certain hot red head (even though all it did was close wounds on the surface), Pixy is up trying to get himself off the ship... probably without Mitsuru's knowing, too. He doesn't want anyone to help him, after all. Though given that he's still mostly dragging his right leg and he's incredibly weak, he probably won't get very far.

He'll prop himself against a wall of the ship and notice Rise laying out there. He feels his heart sink a bit, but after watching her for a few seconds, he can tell she's breathing.

He'll force himself to smirk - though smug was the LAST emotion he had right now. The way he speaks, it's obvious it's forced.]
