I--I can't find Kara. She went back, to see if she could get people out, but I don't...

I checked the wreck and the clinic. [Let's hope this feeling in her gut is just leftovers from this whole ordeal.]

Kara, you better just be... somewhere here. Respond ASAP, or if anyone's seen her--blonde hair, blue eyes, pretty--let me know.

Bathouse

[It's been a blur since they got back. Journal entry done, Steph's in the bathroom, shirt off and held against her chest. Her back is to the mirror, and she turns this way and that, trying to get a good look at the stab wound Lucrezia left.

How sad is it that a knife in her back is the easiest thing to focus on right now? Cass is somewhere, Tim is somewhere, and there's a whole lot of repairing to do, it feels like. But right now, she just wants to see if she's pulled her stitches.

Didn't they just have to rebuild from an earthquake?]

Having them all under one roof is a nice thought, though. The thing she missed most about not living in the castle was that Ezio was a trek away whenever she wanted to see him.

Cass! [Not that Steph doesn't share at least some of the sentiment. She imagines Tim won't be happy even with the idea of Ezio staying a few days, which is annoying. Ezio's been there for her for nearly a year and a half, now. There's no way she'd not be there for him, and screw Tim if he couldn't understand that.]

She had pets, right? And the restaurant? And I was sort of renting this place from her...

[He chuckles at that.]

Si... the Sansa is the only pet I could find, however. The others seem to have gone with her... and this place, I suppose I will just be your landlord.

[Not even sorry for a second.]

We'll be good... renters, don't worry.

If you're here often, you could probably... lower the rent, yeah? Just a little.
