[Martel's been banished from the clinic on order of Dr. Watson and now she seemed to have some free time, but she didn't want it. She wanted to be helping down there as much as she could, but she had been banned from it. She'd already caught up on her sleep (as much as she could) and had a shower, and now... Now she wanted to do something so she didn't have to think about what had happened on that ship. Martel supposed she could go play her panpipes... Maybe she'll even visit the little Truffula tree and see how it was, maybe water it a bit for Once since he was laid up in the clinic. It wouldn't be too hard, as she was already outside in the courtyard.

But first, some filters to check up on people that she hadn't seen since they'd left that awful ship behind.]



Just so all of you know, I'm all right. [Well, all right is relative.] Please, tell me that you're at least still here as well.

[She'd already lost Zelos, she didn't want to lose anyone else right now.]

[She didn't trust him to respond to the friends filter, because she hadn't called on him specifically. Martel knew that he had possibly disappeared somewhere, but... She wanted to see him. To make sure he was all right, and he'd had that bullet removed. The man did have a habit of not looking after himself and not caring if he got injured. If he didn't respond to this, though, she would just have to go looking for him. How hard could it be to find him?]

[SO HELPFUL REBORN. But he's outside the town a ways away from people, mucking about with frisbees and guns. Namely tossing the frisbees and then quickly grabbing his pistol and shooting it but details.]

[...Why is she even surprised? Really, she shouldn't be at this point. It's a good thing gunshots are rather easy to track when you have sensitive hearing. She finally finds him and stops a good distance away, so he doesn't fire on her and because it's loud.]

[The Lorax hasn't been straying too far from that tree since his arrival. He's prepared to guard that thing with his life because hey, that's what he's supposed to do. And maybe this time he'll actually prevent anyone from harming it.

He'll watch Martel closely from out of sight, just to make sure that she's not doing anything suspicious to his tree. 8/]

[Martel kneels beside it, checking the soil to see that it's wet. Somebody must have watered it. Probably Ted or maybe... The Lorax. Once-ler did say he was here.

She looked around, wondering if he's around, but she can't hear or see anything. Not yet. Then she looks back to the tree, and smiles at it.]

You should grow, little tree. A lot of people are counting on you.
