Has ... anyone out there heard from or seen Crowley? He's been gone about a week now...

[anyone who comes looking for Gale will find him in the yard outside, tilling up some of the front lawn for a garden]

[While Gale is someone she actually wouldn't mind hanging out with, his mention of Crowley is enough to keep her quiet. Still, she finds it curious that Crowley's missing. She taps the page a few moments with a pen, before writing simply,]

[It's not like she was hiding out, but she'd rather not just openly broadcast where she is right now since ... she's sort of hiding out. She speaks this time, but her tone is drawn and tired, with something of a darker edge to it.]

We all are. [he sticks his shovel in the ground and moves to sit beside her, wrapping an arm around her]. I want to suggest doing something together, all of us, but.... I don't want to until everyone's ready.

[She appeared out of the woods some time later, almost as if she had been called by Gale's unspoken whisper. Maybe she was, who knew? But her and Gale had been friends long enough that when she hadn't seen him for a few Wednesdays, and after something like that ... well.

She'd brought her extra bow, and an extra quiver of arrows, and when she reached where he was tilling the earth she dropped both beside him. Then she jerked her chin to the woods.] It's Wednesday. Time to go, Gale.

Catnip. [her appearance was just like her: a bird out of nowhere, just when you needed to see one. he planted his shovel in the loam and dusted his hands on his jeans.]. Let me just write a quick note.

[She nodded her head silently, waiting for him to go pen his note to Ino. While he did, she scanned the sky, then leaned down to pick up a handful of dirt and let it drift in the breeze. She nodded, waiting for him to return.]

Yeah - starting a garden in the front yard. Plus I've got to finish the third floor, still. When Crowley fixed everything else, he left my construction right where it'd been. [he says that with a wry sort of amusement. he wouldn't be Crowley if he wasn't a pain in the ass]
