Enough time has passed where I am now sure it is safe to explain myself to you. I am Connor, if you do not remember me; we met in the City Royale some months ago. You provided me with directions to safety, and for that I am very grateful.

If there is anything I may do to repay your kindness, please let me know. You had only asked for an explanation at the time, but perhaps your needs have changed since then.

How do you find the castle? Has it been hospitable?

I do not know about the castle itself.

Yes, I was... asleep. [He woke up in a weird tube thing with no memory of anything, so he assumes he was asleep.]

And you? Did you suffer any hardship?

No... I helped save a woman from the other ship but I was safe. The horrors must have been unimaginable.

At least you were able to help someone. That is an honorable thing.

I know little of honor, but I should like to think I made a friend.

I suppose I have. I do not have any relatives here as you do, but I am making friends. This place is very unlike what I am used to, so I suppose I am still adjusting.

I must admit, I spend most of my time outside. I am not as familiar with the castle as I should be.

I am not one for stone houses, but it certainly has its charms!

Our houses are made of wood, where I am from. I hear in Europe there are many more stones for use in building, so perhaps we are somewhere in Europe.

Yes, but they are small hills. Perhaps you would call them... mounds instead.

My land has both hills and mountains, though I have heard there are taller mountains to the south.
