[Frodo may recognize this voice. It's different than the first time he heard it, now polite and somewhat soft, but it clearly belongs to the same boy he ran into (literally) a few months ago in the city.]
Enough time has passed where I am now sure it is safe to explain myself to you. I am Connor, if you do not remember me; we met in the City Royale some months ago. You provided me with directions to safety, and for that I am very grateful.
If there is anything I may do to repay your kindness, please let me know. You had only asked for an explanation at the time, but perhaps your needs have changed since then.
