For those of you who don't know me, I'm Dr. Keller, though Jennifer is fine, too. Since my friend Dr. Beckett left last month, I've been put in charge of the medical clinic in town, but we're very short-handed. If anybody is willing, I would be deeply grateful for your help.

This brings me to my second point- considering the bumps and scrapes we get and the danger we seem to get regularly thrown into, I'm thinking it would be a good time to offer first aid lessons- I've taught a few people one-on-one, but I'm thinking bigger this time. Huge disasters on the magnitude of what happened last month don't seem to happen often, but when they do, it would be an immense help to have more hands ready to treat the injured.

[She ends it there, because talking to people is still difficult, but she knows she's not going to get any better by hiding away.]

[Rise had surprisingly bounced back from the Event Horizon thing more or less intact, though it did take some time. And between it and the earthquake, she's starting to feel kind of useless whenever things do get more serious around here. This sounds like something she might be able to do to help...

Of course, all Jennifer would hear over the journal is a strange (but maybe slightly familiar) little girl's voice.]

The basics, to start with- namely, what kind of supplies are good to have in a kit and a rundown on how to properly use them.

[No matter how many times this happens, Rise never sees it coming ahead of time... she's just so impulsive when it comes to social contact!]

[She says it as if it's just totally obvious. Without being judgmental or anything because it's completely understandable why Jennifer wouldn't recognize her voice right now...]

Thank you, Dr. Banner. I think that would definitely be useful- I don't want to take any chances after what happened last month. An ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure, after all.

Yes, I agree. What sort of assistance do you need most? I'm not sure how I would do as a teacher.

I think that I can provide you with some help, if you would like. I have an ability that allows me to heal from just about any wound and helps keep me from permanently dying. This ability also extends to my blood, meaning that if someone were to inject my blood into someone else, it would heal the most grievous of injuries and save the person from death no matter how close they were to it. It has also been known to heal horrible disease as well.

If would you like, I would be more than happy to donate a few bags of it. As long as you can promise me that you would use it only in major emergencies, of course.

[Jennifer just stares at this a moment, thinking about how to reply. It sounds too good to be true, but then again, she's learned to suspend some of her skepticism over the course of her lifetime, especially since arriving here.]

Is it safe to use on others? Not that I doubt you, but I'd hate to have it harm anybody I'm trying to help.

Yes, it's quite safe. Peter Petrelli could vouch, if you'd like. I used my blood to save his brother once.

As much as I'd love to help you, Jennifer, I try to stay away from any chances of excessive bleeding of other people that I can. Not walk in the shadow of temptation and all that.
