…Fuckberries.
This isn’t Valhalla, it sure as hell isn’t Blood Gulch, so where the hell am I? I see some giant thing that looks like a castle, ok I’m just going to call it a castle until it turns out to be something different.
Who the fuck builds castles now? Alien architecture sure, but Camelot? Wonderful, just great. I’m stuck in the middle of who the fuck knows where, with a castle and a bunch of unarmed civilians.
So, hey out there…anyone seen Blue base? Hell anyone seen Red base? [Rueful laughter] I must be bad off if I actually want to see those assholes.
(OOC Note: I apologize for the gratuitous profanity but I swear to you it is canon based. Please be aware this is an f-bomb minefield.)

This was just a game to her.
She'd taken everything and this was still a game to her.
Carolina never really stopped screaming in rage, but at some point, her voice gave out, but that didn't slow her attacks one bit. Without the enhancement, without an AI to run it, there was no hope to win the fight, but that didn't stop her. She unleashed blow after blow, an elaborate dance of punches and kicks, each backed with every ounce Carolina could pour in.
Even if Carolina didn't have many ounces to pour. She was honestly lucky she had had an unwanted vacation a week ago where she'd actually eaten and slept and functioned like a somewhat full human being.]

Tex hasn’t countered yet with an attacking blow, she doesn’t want this fight and still Carolina presses on. If she does retaliate, if she brings the other woman down what will that accomplish? There is no mission here, no goal that they are competing for, this is about Carolina’s life and regardless of the rage Tex can work up for damn near everything else in existence she can’t summon hate enough to hurt her out of spite.
It wasn’t a game, it never had been not to Agent Texas and not to Tex.]
Carolina, stand down. You don’t need to do this.
[*I don’t want to do this.* But the choice was, as always up to the other woman. Tex had no horse in this race but if it became necessary to put Carolina down to stop her from damaging herself, she would. Tex just really didn’t want to.
But there was that pride, as blow after blow was so artfully made, kicks with the power and precision to nearly be mechanical. Christ which of them was more machine at this point? She suffered a pang of dark feeling over that and it had nothing to do with programming.
She couldn’t let Carolina burn herself out like this, to leave herself as just a husk. She would have to step up and take action. So Tex moved. Blows designed far more to impeded than inflict pain and damage. Blocks that turned into grapples, punches that landed offsides of being incapacitating and more staggering. Her leg snapped out to meet and match kicks from the other woman and attempt to sweep her to the ground. It could almost be a round in the training arena except for the hoarse cry that still hung in the air from Carolina.]

Even after destroying Carolina's life inside and out.
No, she needed to do this more than breathing. She needed to beat Tex more than she needed the blood pumping through her veins, than the breath filling her lungs. Once Tex began fighting back, Carolina pushed herself to maximum output, without necessarily having all of the strength to do so for very long. The sweep at her legs was met with a smooth, vaulting handspring that, once she landed, she struck out again with her heel.]

Tex just had to wait it out, wait until she was too exhausted to continue, jesus was she going to be pissed. There was no way she could reason with her right now though, not a chance in hell. If there was ever any proof of the family bond maybe that was it. Way to go Allison, way to create offspring as fucked up as you were.
Funny how her personality could be thinking while her body continued to move, she could note the excellent form on Carolina's move, the sharp and clean snap of her foot when she struck out again. But her body merely calculated the movement, a hand reaching for the heel in an attempt to grab it and flip the other woman back off her feet.
Damn though, she was good.]

But the whole movement is too slow, every twist of her body showing miles and miles of exhaustion and clear evidence that she wouldn't be able to keep up.
And Carolina hated that she was too slow. She could feel it in her bones, but she didn't want to acknowledge it. But she knew it.]

In the movement she had to release the woman's foot and regain her own stance. It was clear that the human was exhausting herself, while Tex..well machines have the edge there don't they?
Tex lunged forward, one fist swinging for Carolina's midsection while the other, in a far more devious move, went for her throat. If it worked it might neutralize her long enough to end this before one of them did any real damage.]

No, no no!
[If Texas wasn't holding her, Carolina would sink down to her knees, hand at her own throat, trying to pull off invisible fingers.]
no subject
No, not like this. Carolina, I, oh fuck.
[Great, just fucking great now she'd left the woman traumatized and there was jack all she could do about it except, maybe, yeah. Tex turned and ran. There was no fight anymore, nothing to win and nothing more she could do that wouldn't leave the freelancer even worse off than she was now. Just perfect, way to inflict mental scarring Tex. Way to be something she wouldn't have to hate and fear.]
Welcome to castle Wonderfuck, Tex.
