I suppose I should be glad that Castle didn't choose a more ridiculous 'punishment' for the last month or so. Though not being able to communicate at all is rather frustrating, and I keep having the urge to go lay down in the sun for a nap...
[Thamuris has spent most of the last month as a pretty little ginger cat, mostly seen lurking around castmates or in the library]

Quite so. I did get an awful lot of reading done in between naps.

Cats have eyes too, you know. And not too many people tried to chase me off the tables in the library.
[Though getting the books down had probably involved at least one cat-book cascade....]

Somewhat surprising, considering the number of library watchdogs we seem to have around here.

I'm good at finding the quiet spots.

Ah, yes. I was, um, a cat.

[ Because cats do that everywhere, right? Take naps where its least convenient for you. ]

It was a bit odd at first, but I rather got used to it.

Yes, rather. And cats don't really... move the way people do.
[which is a nice way of saying he fell off of stuff a lot the first few days]

Four legs and a tail, I would imagine they move differently. They tend to ... sneak up a lot better, than dogs or quietta too.

Actually cats, I suppose. I don't think I was very good at sneaking, though I didn't really try much.

[Chell writes. That little ginger cat had padded by her room quite a bit, and had come and gone. Far was it from her to turn away a cat. but she'd had no clue.]

It decided to make me a cat. You were very kind, by the way.

That was you!?
[She writes in amazement.]
Well, you make an excellent cat. One of the friendliest ones I've ever had dealings with. And geez. This kind of puts things full circle doesn't it? Since you met me when I was a cat.
[She giggles at the irony.]

Yes, that was me. And it rather does - maybe this place has a sense of humor after all.
no subject
[She laughs.]
It does. A sometimes sick, twisted sense of humor.
no subject
True - but not as much in this instance, I think.

I agree. Also, I usually dislike the color orange. BUT I like orange cats. So that was interesting.
[OOC: Ginger cats are kind of orangey, right?]
no subject
Really? What an odd coincidence.
[OOC: yep, sort of reddish-orange]
