So, this Sunday is supposed to be something called Father's Day. I didn't really pay much attention to it last year. It... wasn't a good time. [He clears his throat.]

Anyway, I know not everyone's lucky enough to have two dads, or even one. But, if you're looking for a handmade gift, I wanted to offer my skills as a crafter. I can make jewelry, furniture, pretty much anything out of wood, um... stuff like that. I'm not great with weapons but I'm working on it. I know giving my dad a sword would be pretty awesome, but I'm not that good yet.

[He lets out a sigh, drumming his fingers along the page.]

Wish there was a way to talk to them, even if they aren't here.

[Zelos usually loves pestering Lloyd on his entries. When you have very little to do, of course you bother your bud! And when he's doing entries in the journal it's not like he can say stuff like 'Zelos I'm trying to sleep' or 'Zelos back up before you get your hair in the soddering iron'. And so of course this time would be no different with how bored he is. And so he opens his mouth to say something and-]

[- And then he sees the topic: Father's Day. Like someone actually...made a holiday, for fathers.]

[If Lloyd can feel stares, he can imagine the journal being stared at like something disgusting came out of it. Because that's what Zelos is doing for a good thirty seconds]

[Right before he nopes right out of this entry and the journal shuts. Nope, not even insane boredom will make him want to touch this one with a ten foot pole. Nope nope nope nope noooope.]

Neither of my dads are here, but it's a nice thought to make something for them anyway.

Yep. There's my biological father, and my stepfather. My stepdad married my mom a few years ago.

Ah, gotcha.

My first dad and I got separated, and then the guy who found me raised me. So that's why I have two dads.

Having a mixed family isn't bad at all.

Nah, it's actually really commmon where I come from. Kids like us can have two moms or two dads, or they're raised by grandparents or uncles, or even people not related to them at all. Family can mean anything.
