[By now you should have already woken up to your surroundings. Your camp is near a clifface, overlooking the sea. Nearby are long, metallic trailers, full of hi-tech tracking equipment and enough space to sleep four people. Each has a kitchen and a bathroom, too. In the distance, is the jungle, but it seems largely quiet today]

It just works better when the animals are exhibiting their behaviours. I don't want to miss anything while I'm staring at a piece of paper.

Harding. Didn't Hammond brief you on me?

Yes, of course, Harding. [yeah totally pretending like he knows who you are, lady, and trying not to look in pain as he lies] Sorry about that, I'm usually better remembering details. I just got overwhelmed by these amazing creatures. You understand how that goes.

I can understand. It's an amazing opportunity. I take it you're an intern, maybe?

[he laughs at that assumption. He's probably the strangest-looking intern she's ever seen, with his leather jacket and bandana. But maybe being a thirty-something intern isn't strange for paleontologists]

I'm always looking to learn new things. And how many opportunities do you get to observe live dinosaurs?

It's... [he's been getting these pains a lot since coming to Paradisa. No matter where they are: the castle, the Lewis & Clark, this place... It feels just like the pain he would get with his condition, except he's still completely human. It doesn't make sense]

My leg hurts a little. Must've slept on it wrong. [though it would help if he stopped lying]

Sure, so long as I get to write the book on tyrannosaur habits, I don't mind. [She heads towards a trailer]

I'll grab you those painkillers. Go sit down somewhere, one of the trailers should have a good seat.

Uh... [oh geez it had to be a trailer. But he has to play along until he learns more about this place] I can do that. Thanks.

[he'll walk with a slight limp but he at least made up a good story to explain that one]

[she's really the best. But while she's gone, he's totally checking his leg just to make sure it's still flesh. It is, but it's really worrying him how often it's hurting]
