Team Tembo: Day one
[By now you should have already woken up to your surroundings. Your camp is in the jungle, surrounded by tents, vehicles and cages full of dinosaurs. Wander around, check out the armoury, wonder why there are a bunch of dinosaurs in cages, or get yourself a tent]

[Oblivious to what she's actually talking about.]

The beasts, sir. Or do you not know?
no subject
[Glance...]
Well, they're dinosaurs. I guess.
no subject
[ No comprehension. ]
Are we meant to dine on them?
no subject
It's... Greek, I think. 'Terrible lizard.' But they're not lizards, they're like... birds or something. Hell, I don't know.

I will find someone who knows what manner in which we are meant to proceed. Should I find anything of note, I will be certain to share the information, if I might have your name. I am Anne Boleyn.

Brock is just looking at the cages, rubbing at the back of his neck.] Huh? Brock Samson.
[.........then he turns to look at her.]
You did not just say your name is Anne Boleyn.
no subject
That is my name, sir, it belongs to no other that I have known. My father is Thomas Boleyn, and my mother Elizabeth.
I am sorry for I have not heard of your...family, though I should think anyone belonging to the name Samson to be a good and honorable man.

He has enough tact not to say this out loud, but. He's thinking it.
Also, he's pretty sure she just insulted him or something but he doesn't really care.]
Wow, calm down. I'm just saying, you're like... a famous historical figure. So. It's weird.

Now she's looking at him like he's grown horns, or he's about to eat her. Again, it isn't his fault, but it was only two days earlier that Anne learned what history had written about her. Did he have to recognize her so? Did he have to?
Also where has he been, living under a rock? He must have gotten her May Day invitation, or seen her regency announcement, or maybe he really does live under a rock, what does she know? ]
I am not a name from a book. I am just myself, sir, a flesh and blood woman, so it is no more strange for me to be here than for you.
no subject
Yeah, but I'm not in history books. It's not a big deal, there are other famous people here.

[ She expects to hear the worst, of course. She already knows everything
except for maybe the good stuff history says about her. ]no subject
[Also she was the reason the Church of England exists, but she already knows that. And... she was executed, but maybe she doesn't know that? And that's not a thing you should hear from a stranger.]
no subject
...I see. Well, Mister Samson, I will pray you stay safe in whatever charge we have been entrusted with this day.
no subject
Uh, sure. Whatever.
