I don't know. Like I said, I've only been here a few days, and I spent most of it on a clinic bed in a castle.

Castle?

[There's more to this crazy place?]

[lara_the_explorer]

It's a long story. The castle is magical, they say, so it changes the way it manifests itself. Like now.

[Let him get this sorted out in his mind]

I've been kidnapped by a magic castle that can turn itself into a forest?

It sounds irrational, I know. But that is the truth.

[chenwho]

Irrational. What could be bloody irrational about all this?

[Mostly to himself... He sighs, finally lowering the knife all the way.]

[lara_the_explorer]

[Lara was silent for a second, trying to get a good look at this man's face]

How do you know me?

[chenwho]

I don't think I do.

[Not this you, anyway.]

[lara_the_explorer]

You called me by my surname. And you talked to me like you knew me.

I know a Lara Croft. She looks a lot like you.

[He scrubs his eyes.]

But this is all wrong. The time doesn't make sense.

[lara_the_explorer]

[She just looks at him with a confused expression]

It won't happen again.

[He moves to sheath the knife in his boot again.]

[lara_the_explorer]

Wait.

Who are you?

[chenwho]

[He stands, and looks back.]

Terry Sheridan. [What's the harm?]

[lara_the_explorer]

Terry Sheridan. I don't know anyone by that name, but I'll remember it.

[She slowly steps away]

[chenwho]

No doubt you will.

[He's just going to start walking out of the trees.]
