I am actually okay with not being surrounded by things that can eat us. Things that can trample us are bad enough.

She takes the glask back but pauses to shoot him a disbelieving glance before taking a sip.

"Yeah, as if this place would let us get off that easy. They still make me nervous." She takes a healthy drink and hands it back. This is the first step in getting back to normal, she supposes; the good old feeling of being stupid drunk.
