[The weather has finally broken, and heavy rain beats down on the camp. You could be forgiven for believing that distant rumbling sound to be thunder, but you would be mistaken. Soon, the ground trembles with heavy footfalls, rainwater collected in puddle begin to ripple.
Not one, but two adult T-Rex emerge from the darkness. They’re not happy and they want their precious little angel darling back]

[ Staring, and looking way too excited. It's easy for him to forget he can't just fly away at the first sign he might be in danger, especially when he's enthralled. Joshua may prefer supernatural events, but dinosaurs are epic for any adventurer or archaeologist, right?

Oh wait, where is Lucrezia? He should stop gawking and go look for her. But...first...he's pulling out a cell phone and taking pictures.

[The male turns at the bright flash, sniffing the air stepping carefully forward. Where you at, flashing thing? Good thing their vision is based on movement, huh?]

[Tex is moving through the camp trying to herd stragglers into high hides and other secure places.]

[Hey Tex, heeeeey Tex. That moving around sure is attracting a lot of attention. Papa starts moving towards her, letting out a roar]

[oh dear. ohhhhhhh dear. that is not a good sound, and most certainly not the thunder he originally thought it was. Lemony was setting out some pans to collect the rainwater for camp use - it never hurts to be environmentally conscious! - when he hears the roar. his trailer is at the other end of camp - he could run, but he'd be a very visible target. the ladder to the nearest high hide is also a little far.

luckily, his V.F.D training as a young man negates any need for manmade climbing structures. he scans the trees in his immediate vicinity until he finds one that has sturdy branches a good distance up]

Sunny! Sunny, quickly, come here. We have to climb.

[he's looking for Henry, what do you think he's doing. Also, his leg is still bad so it's not like he can run fast right now]

Henry! Henry! [please let him already be safe, please let him be somewhere far away, please don't let the dinosaurs find him]

[Uh oh. Ooooooh he remembers these things. This is very not good. Sandy wishes more than ever that he had his powers right now. He cringes, looking around for Bunny or any of the children he'd seen in the camp. He has to make sure everyone's safe!]

[No way is Calvin staying inside. Everyone inside is boring. Even the baby T-rex got boring pretty fast just laying there doing nothing.]

[once Team Tembo starts to arrive at the riverside, Gale slings a backpack off his shoulders near the edge of a clearing. the first thing he takes out is a spade, and he starts to dig a hole with it, a generous distance from the underbrush at the edge of the forest. there's also a coil of rope in his backpack, and several grenades, if anyone feels like coming over and being curious. or helpful]

[Lara climbed up on an elevated clearing, high enough to see most of the camp and far enough from the carnage. With her is a high-caliber sniper rifle, strong enough to distract a big beast like the T-Rex.]

Let's hope this works...

[She loads the gun and turns on her radio to communicate to any members on Tembo's team who brought a radio with them.]

[Soon after the second Rex moves away from the toppled trailer, one of the huge trucks bursts out of the jungle and into the camp clearing. Gren is behind the wheel, leaning hard on the horn before making a hard turn, aiming to draw the animal back into the jungle and towards a whole lot of people from Tembo with guns.]

[Nope. It's got a good view, but Kelly's more the action type. She's forgoing the stairs and leaping out at the first sign of trouble. Is there a T-Rex close enough? She's aiming for its back.]

[ Lucrezia doesn't even remember how she got up here in the first place. Everything is a blur! But the gunshots are enough to draw her attention to the one she's looking for. Holy water is a nice touch but that still doesn't seem to be a fatal blow. Not cool.

She only starts worrying once Joshua and mommy T-Rex disappears into the forest, turning to whoever's sitting closest to her. ]
