[ Instantly he pulls his hand away, staring at it and the man's face. ]

I am the Emergency Medical Holographic Program, and Chief Medical Officer on board the Federation Starship USS Voyager. It's fine if you don't understand. I imagine I'll be encountering that a lot.

I see. [ Now Robb feels as unsettled as his wolf. ] I must insist I be tended by my own however, there are others aboard this vessel that need help more than I.

[The doctor unpacks some sterlised bandages and some antiseptic.]

Clean the wound with water first, then apply this. [He taps the antiseptic.] Change the bandages once daily, any complications, contact me. A filter to "EMH" will do.

[He stands.]

Oh! I just remembered. I described myself like a spirit to someone like you. But... man-made.

[wolfskin]

[ Robb nods, listening carefully before trying to give the... man a pleasant smile. ]
