Everybody do the dinosaur

[Anyone near the docks this evening, will get o enjoy watching various cargo ships make their way into the city, dropping off or picking up precious cargo. It's a pleasant night, all things considered. That means something has to go wrong, right?

One of the cargo ships seems to have run aground, trapped on the docks. Workers are milling around it, talking in confused, raised voices. One eventually gets onto the ship, to search for crew. ...Its a few seconds later that there is a scream and the sound of metal being smashed into. The male T-Rex bursts out of the cargo hold, stomping out onto the docks. Workers run, screaming in terror, as the Rex makes his way towards the city....]

[Papa keeps following Tex. Lowering his head, ready to headbutt that car the heck out of his way. Tex that witty banter is terrible, leave it to the others]

[Tex is projecting, cool use of the suits built in amplifier and trying to stay a step or two ahead of big daddy T.]

Look at it this way, this is probably not going to work. I'll probably end up dino chow..and who will you have to share the story wtih? Get out of here with York.

[Carolina would growl out a fuck you if she weren't so busy running. If nothing else, her time in the Dead Zone had increased her stamina and endurance and she could really sprint for another few blocks before getting a bit winded and having to drop down to just a run. Either way, she doesn't want to see her not-mother die again and the best way to avoid that is to make her own shelter. The hotel at the end of the street draws nearer as she keeps up the manic pace. She had to get there and she had to get there soon.]

Fine. Be that way. York is going to drive next to her, nice and slow, and if absolutely necessary he can play rabbit to draw off the dinosaur. But it more or less looks like Tex has it covered, so in that case he'll just escort her to the hotel.]

[What the hell was it with everyone being so fucking stupid? Carolina was refusing to let York help her, and York was still going to try. He deserved better than the treatment he was getting. It was hard not to feel a little responsible for that, but shit she was trying here.

[As Carolina closes the last block to the hotel's front doors, she sees a manager or recptionist start locking the doors. She tries to signal no, that she needed to get into the building, but the person on the other side doesn't listen. That doesn't stop Carolina from trying the doorhandles anyway when she gets there, more out of instinct and fear than rational thought, but they're still tightly locked.

The T-Rex flips the car he'd been working on, sending it barreling toward Tex.]

We have to get out of here, Carolina! Just get in the damn car.

[They should be able at least to outrun it that way...if she'll cooperate. Which she doesn't want to.]
