[Meanwhile at Belmont Park]

[While Chie is heavily affected by the events of the past few days, having a day to spend in a big city, in a foreign country, made her happy enough to shrug off what happened. She took some medication for her ankle, so she'll be walking just fine. Now that she's in a big American city, what to do?  Why go to a theme park of course! She's pretty sure some of the residents got the same idea, so she's on the look out for some familiar faces.

[What to do when you had a whole day free in the city? Movies he could see at the castle, and museums were boring and educational. No thanks.

Danny was headed for the theme park. He lazily makes his way through the gate, then heads straight for the closest map.

Where to go first?]

[Chie was close to the entrance. She turned around and saw Danny in the crowd. Oh hey, it's that guy. Being by herself, she might as well walk to him and say hi]

[He turns and blinks.]

Yeah! And you're... [Yeah, she doesn't remember]

Oh, right! Yeah, Danny. Fancy running into you here. I thought I was the only one to think of going to roller coasters today.

[whistles_the_blues]

[Blues has decided to take a trip to the amusement park. He's just there sitting at a bench for now. Though there are quite a few people walking by a little confused at his out of date hairstyle and sunglasses.]

Blues! Hey! [Chie waved at him from a distance. He could see her heading towards him, giggling while she does]

Oh, man. What are you doing here? I mean- Wow, people are staring at us. Just pretend you're a mascot.

[whistles_the_blues]

Just passing by.

[Likely story right? He glances around and see's the people staring and shrugs.]

I'm not pretending I'm a mascot.

[He points to an actual mascot.]

They look ridiculous.

Yeah, but people might ask questions why there's a real robot in the city! [Chie said the last part of the sentence leaning forward and sharply whispering it. Funny she should be concerned about a robot in the city though. It's not like there's not gonna be a T-Rex in town later. Woops]

[whistles_the_blues]

I pass off just fine as a human. If not, then I'll just stay out of sight.

[He'll shrug and continue on, screw what other people think.]

[People started to gather around them, with children looking at Blues. Chie just rubbed her forehead and followed Blues]

Are you sure about that?

[It's late afternoon and Wade has made her way her to spend a few hours, aiming to hop onto the coaster near sundown for a ride that will probably be the highlight of her day. But for now she's wandering the boardwalk, her journal under her arm as she snacks on a churro and scopes out the midway games.]

[Chie was exploring the place in amazement. There's just nothing like this back home! Even if it's no Disneyland, it's definitely larger than the amusement park her dad brought her to back when she was a kid.

But a midst the crowd, she sees the familiar sight of the journal from the corner of her eye. She took two steps back to confirm what she just saw and even compared it to her own. She thought it wouldn't hurt to approach the person...]

Hi there!

[She turns at the greeting, caught in the middle of taking a bite of her snack, trying not to scatter cinnamon everywhere and swallows quickly so she can speak]

Oh! Hey! [She doesn't recognize the girl, but she she smiles] Can I help you?

Well... [Now that she's closer, she could see the journal. Yep, that's definitely the Paradisa journal] I see you're from Paradisa too. I caught a glimpse of your journal, so I thought you might be a resident I still haven't met!

[She looks down at her journal and chuckles]

I guess I am. I only got in about a week ago, so I'm pretty much new to everything and everybody.

Wow, really? Welcome then! I'm Chie Satonaka. [Chie gives her a friendly smile and extends her hand for a shake]

[Guess what, Chie? Rise saw you first!]

Hey~! Chie-chan~!

[Suddenly, a twintailed idol is running to catch up with her friend! Looks like she had the same idea about checking out some of the local sights!

Of course, she's a bit concerned, too. She spent the whole time on a cruise ship, and never ran into Chie once, so that means...

... Well, she's obviously fine now! No reason to bring any of that up, right?]

[Rise might still see some bandaged up cuts and bruises though. Chie turned around to see her friend, a sight that made her face lighten up]

Rise-chan! Hey!

[She's so glad Rise wasn't there in the island. But enough of that now, she;s here to forget about that! She approached her friend with open arms and gave her a hug to express her relief]

I'm so glad to see you here! And we're actually in America, can you believe it?!

[Of course, it's Chie, so bandaged up cuts and bruises are nothing to be worried about. Rise will be a bit gentler about hugging her, though... just in case.

She laughs a little at Chie's excitement about being here, too.]

You should have seen Wonderland!

[Her first world change and first loss. It must have been pretty normal for everyone else, given how quickly it's been forgotten or set aside, but it really left an impact on her!]

Wonderland? You mean that one in the fairy-tale Wonderland? [Chie asked as she released her arms from Rise's body and leads the way to the theme park itself]

Yep! Or something like it, at least. There was this King and Queen, and cards and talking caterpillars and this big dragon thing!

[... Actually she might not want to remember almost being eaten. Even if it does feel almost surreal enough to have been a dream.]

Oh, and Nora-chan and I were both fairies!

But those are all behind us. Let's just enjoy the free stuff we could get with this! [Chie grinned and showed Rise a credit card with InGen's logo on it]

And you know what this theme park is next to? A beach! An actual beach!
