He came home.
What terrible months we have seen, before even the dog days arrive!
I say we put an end to it, at once. The Castle drinks our joys as greedily as it feeds on our sorrows; we might show it that happiness is what we seek. Happiness beyond bound, which we would gladly offer as payment for our borrowed time, and no more tears.
Summer brings music and merriment to the streets of Rome, gypsies and pilgrims alike dancing together. We can do similarly here.

There are many gods that I could believe in. There is the Great Stallion of the Dothraki, my late husband's god, whose khalasar is made up of the stars blazing in the night sky. There is the Faith of the Seven of Westeros, the religion of my native land, made up of seven faces of a single deity—the Father, the Mother, the Warrior, the Maiden, the Smith, the Crone, and the Stranger.
But although I am Khaleesi of the Dothraki, I was not raised with their god...nor was I with the Seven of Westeros. Because of this, I do not follow either faith.
If I were to say who holds the fate of my soul...I would have to say it would be myself. [ A pause. ] Are there people who believe such, in your land?
