[An invitation is delivered to everyone in the castle this morning, as well as slipped into the journal.]

I'm still looking for artists and employees, too, if anyone's interested. I was thinking of doing a display of kids' art, too. Like, art done by the kids during that week they were all there. If anyone wants to send some my way I can put it up before the opening.

((OOC: If anyone ventures to the town Nora can be found outside the Gallery today with a boombox nearby as she paints the front of the building. I'll do a log for the reopening for Saturday.))

You know I'll be there, Nora. And I think the display would be a very whimsical, yet practical addition to the gallery. A reminder of sorts...

I was hoping you'd come, since I've been putting that notebook to good use with plans for the Gallery. [Aren't you proud of her?!]

Um... maybe? I'm still kinda working on that part. Honestly I don't know much about finger food that is fancier than chips and dip.

Luckily, a very dear friend of mine is fond of collecting recipes. I will ask her if she has any fit for such an occasion.

Anything, really. No one got back to me last time I asked if anyone who worked at the Gallery is still here and still wants to work. So I'm kinda doing this mostly on my own right now.

[A written invitation demands a written reply--not that Gideon could have given a verbal answer anyway, but you know. He's playing by his culture's rules here. And so he slips a carefully folded sheet of paper under her door late in the afternoon, on which a short message has been written.]

[Whoa hey, she hadn't expected a written RSVP. Fancy. She smiles at the note for a minute before tacking it up on her wall near the dried flower she'd been given by Chaucer. It really did mean a lot to have friends like Gideon - adults who treated her like an adult instead of some stupid rebellious teenager. She made a mental note to make something for him as thanks for his friendship.]

I understand you have a number of works by Steve Rogers there. I could curate something, a sort of historical walk through about him if you wanted that sort of thing. Art isn't my forte, but that... that would be something I could do.

That would be awesome! I was thinking about doing something about different artists who aren't here anymore, like tributes of them. I have art from a couple of other people who've gone home, too.

Great, I'll stop by and see what sort of space we're working with. I'm not sure what other people have contributed or what I can do about those, but I'll try to help if I can.

[Chell'd been working on her contribution for the gallery. Unfortunately, she'd NOT found a way to paint up-side-down. What she HAD done though was still interesting. She'd discovered the ability to hold paint brushes in both her toes and hands, and had painted that way, sprawling on the canvas. The art had turned out abstract, but... not totally bad. After all, art is art, yes? And even in its abstractness, it still represented something to Chell. So she'd titled it, neatly, in her best handwriting, "How Ideas Are Born"]

I have my submission for the gallery.

It all sounds marvelous. What sort of art will you be showing?

All kinds! It's all art done by residents so there's all kindsa stuff here. Abstract, portraits, landscapes, a sculpture... I've got it all.
